You found out that the principal made a recent announcement that the afternoon classes were cancelled due to the two of the teachers having a brawl in the teacher's lounge. You didn't quite understand. You were thinking that some of the teachers were as lousy as the countries at your school.

You were standing under the building as you saw rain pouring out the window. Everyone who was walking home at least had a raincoat or an umbrella. You looked through the window to find that Lili and Switzerland had already left. "But it was sunny when I got here..," you muttered and crossed your arms, staring at the rain in boredom.

"Fancy seeing you here, Y/N," you heard a familiar Austrian accent say behind you. You ended up twirling around as you turned to face him. Quickly after, you looked down and your tiny skirt that was part of the uniform as you pulled it down a bit.

You noticed that he had an umbrella in his hand and hoped that this was your last chance unless you're going to have to call your furious dad. "Hey, Roderich, or Austria, whatever you prefer could you, by any chance walk me home? I don't have an umbrella," you told him as there was a silence all of a sudden.

"Sure, Austria, would be nice," he said, breaking the silence. You watched him step out in the rain and open his umbrella as you stood next to him and walked through the gates of the large school, which fascinated you compared to your old one.

Speaking of the school, you remembered what Switzerland had said to you. He said to avoid him at all costs.

"Beats getting sick from the rain.." You thought as you started up a conversation with Austria so it wouldn't be as awkward.

"Would...Mondays be okay? For practices? 3-4?" You asked. Austria shook his head.

"I'm unavailable on weekdays, Saturday would be a good day. At, possibly 1:00-2," Austria said as you shook your head. Austria looked at you oddly. "Is there, something wrong with the day?" Austria asked. You nodded and looked up at the rainy sky.

"Well, I have shooting practice that my dad takes me for self defense," you told Austria as he was silent for a moment.

"Sundays at the same time?" Austria asked. You smiled at him and nodded as you two walked along the wet pavement as the sound of rain filled the air like music to your ears.

"Why do the male countries always pick fights with you?" You asked curiously. Austria's eyes slightly widened as he frowned, looking down at the ground as he held the umbrella in his hand. You watched as his hand trembled on the handle.

"Well, fine. I will answer your question. I, honestly do not know. Ever since I was little, it has always been that way," Austria said as you nodded, knowing that if you asked the question any further, then you would think of it to be too personal.

"I see that you have hung out with Switzerland a lot. His story is a bit different," Austria said as you nodded, knowing your history very well.

"I know what happened. You don't need to explain," you said as Austria nodded, facing up again.

"Thank you," he said as you continued to walk the same way. You stopped at your house as you looked at Austria and smiled.

"Thanks, Austria. From piano lessons to walking me home," you told him.

"No problem, Ms. Y/N," he replied as he walked off. You opened the door as you wiped your feet on the mat and slouched on the couch, clearly exhausted.

"Dear Y/N you should have invited that boy over," your mom said as she sat on the couch next to you and brushed your hair with a comb. You sighed, letting her because it was a mother's instinct.

"I just met him today at Gakuen. The school there is very confusing, mom," you told her as she smiled, putting down a cup of coffee on the countertop.

"I told your father to stop taking you to shooting practice it's not proper for a lady," your mom said as you nodded, remembering something.

"Austri- I mean, Roderich, invited me to take piano lessons with him on Sunday," you said as your mom had a big grin on her face, similar when you had a crush on someone in elementary or in middle school. You told her his human name because she might even faint if she figured out that he was a country.

"Oh, if only you had it on your shooting practices so you wouldn't have to go. The only part I agree with the practices would be for self defense," your mom said as you reached for your backpack and your phone in your pocket.

"I'll go to my room and do my homework," you said and walked to your room.

"Okay, call me if you need anything!" Your mom exclaimed as you sat down on your bed with your headphones on, sinking yourself into a world of a mix of Vocaloid and Kpop. Even though you didn't know the direct translation, you enjoyed listening to it.

You took out your homework and found a note in your social studies notebook from, Lili.

Big Brother wanted me to give you his phone number

And it read a couple of digits. You smirked as you put them down in your phone. You didn't call him just yet, as you opened your textbook and started to do the lesson review questions for homework.

After your load of homework, you put your things back in your backpack when something fell off the binder pocket. You found piano sheets of paper with another number on it. You were so confused at the pattern going on that you decided to call Switzerland first, since it seemed almost a bit awkward for you to talk to Austria.

"Hey!" You exclaimed in the phone as you heard Switzerland respond.

"Hey," he said, trying to mimic me.

"So, you told Lili to give me your number?" You asked as Switzerland laughed.

"I guess I did, friend. Hey, take that as a compliment, I don't have much friends," Switzerland said as you nodded.

"Well, I don't have much besides you and Lili," I said as Switzerland chuckled.

"That makes us the same, then," Switzerland said as you heard the door open. It was obviously your dad back from work.

"Well, I gotta go now! Bye!" You said.

"Bye," Switzerland replied as you hung up the phone and showed your dad proof that your homework was done so you could eat dinner early.

While waiting for dinner to prepare, you went on your phone on the piano app and started to play the sheet music that Austria had given you. However, your hands were slipping a bit since it was just a screen.

You eventually gave up and just laid down on your bed in boredom as you decided to text Austria.

Hey, it's me, Y/N, I was wondering why you gave me the sheet music and the number

You waited for a response when you saw the three dots as he replied with a message.

Well, the sheet music would be to help you for practice. The number was if you didn't understand, to contact me.

You rolled your eyes which made you snicker a bit. "Beethoven fanboy.." You thought in your mind as you turned off your phone.

"Dinner's ready!" You heard your mom say as you walked out of your room and walked into the kitchen, with the scent of food filling the air.
