The Alphas' Rare Mate

prologue

'' mum can we pleeeeaaaasssseeee go for a run????'' Avalon asked her mum in her cute 4 year old voice.

''of course sweetie, but we have to bring dad  and your brothers with us okay?'' her mum, Sadie replied to her daughter.

''okay!!'' Avalon loved her family, of course she would want them to come with her.

Avalon has 3 older brother who are all two years apart as well as her and her youngest brother.

5 minutes later they were all walking to the edge of the forest to shift.

every wolf changes into there wolves at the age of 5, Sadie (avalons mum) was grey wolf, with white feet, John (avalons dad) was a large rusty brown colour all over, he was alpha so he was bigger than most other werewolves.

her brothers had a mix of both, they were avalons favourite so when ever the went for runs she would sit on one of her brothers backs.

''I cant wait to see what my wolf will look like, I hope shes  mix like my brothers. ''Avalon said as they made it to the tree line and they all shifted apart from her. when they shift they don't lose there clothes.

her brothers, Aston (age 6) Chance (age 8) and Demetri (age 10) all gave her a wolfish grin, and demetri lade down for her to get on his back.

after half an hour of there run they came to a little lake they always come to on there territory, and had a picnic just by the water, when they herd growling.

john jumped to  his feet and shifted into his rusty wolf as about 7 rouges stepped out of the forest.

'' kids run we'll hold them off!!'' wispier yelled at them in a frantic voice ''and keep safe we love you'' there mum said with tears in her eyes.

avalons brother quickly jumped to there feet and grabed onto her as they ran in the oppersite direction of there parents.

''Avalon run we'll catch up and find you don't worry'' her brothers told her, she just nodded and keep running. she could no longer feel the presence of her brothers behind her but new they would keep there promise so she kept running.

after half an hour, Avalon slowed her run until she came to a stop.

she found a big willow tree with big roots, and sat in-between them and decided that were she was was a good place to sit for her brothers to come and find her.

she soon found herself drifting off to sleep, and welcomed the darkness, still with her family in her mind.

she woke up to growling just above her, she opened her eyes to come face to face with a huge brown wolf, showing his teeth and ready to attack.

Avalon wimped a backed away from the large wolf  who just seemed to realise she was just a child.

he shifted back into his human form, he looked to be around hi 40s.

''child, what is your name and were are your parents?'' he asked in a grandfatherly tone.

''my names Avalon bower and we were having a picnic when strange wolves came and attacked mummy and daddy they told us to run so we did they said they would find me soon'' she said as a tear slide down her cheek.

he had a surprised look on his face but then it turned to pity.

''was your daddy alpha of the blue moon pack Avalon?'' hes asked.

Avalon just nodded he head.

the man turned and talked to the men with him and they all ran in the opersite direction as there came from.

the man look back and introduced himself.

'' well little one, my names Barry, im the alpha on the red moon pack, and im now going to look after you. is that ok?'' he asked with hopeful eyes.

''but weres mum and dad/'' she asked back.

''they've gone to visit your ancestors in the sky'' he replied.

even from my young age, she new what he was saying. my parents were dead and never coming back.

Avalon just nodded her head, as alpha barry got a happy smile and lifted her up a carried her back to the pack house, but Avalon fell back asleep before they got there.
