Imagine: You are a sprite, living in Port Arthur, Texas. Some strange disappearances occur, that you know nothing of, and the Winchesters roll into town. You have to lay low, otherwise, there's going to be a whole lot of trouble for you.

Three months ago...

One warm, summer's evening, you were exploring the woods near your house. You'd ventured there many times, and stumbled upon a small pond. It was unkempt, and sorely overgrown; so much so that not even a bug would dare try to inhabit the stagnant scene. But something about it was curious. Perhaps, it could become something of beauty, with a little assistance. Waving your hand gently, you discarded the weeds and the roots, which had snaked their way to the edges of the pond. With a little magic, you urged the grass to grow, greener and brighter. And it did. You rid the pond of dead leaves and dirt, and made the water fresh- crystal clear. Blackberry blossom emerged from the ground, peppering the ground with different shades of pink. As the scenery transformed, you watched proudly. This is how magic should really be used. Adding the finishing touches to your work, you materialised a couple of small fishes and frogs; the rest of the wildlife would find its own way there. Marvelling at the rippling waves in the water, you sighed, turned and wandered away.

Time had flown so quickly since you'd discovered the pond in the woods. You had decided to name it 'Paradeisos' after the Greek heaven. Sprite's believed that heaven was different for each- a person's own little paradise. That was what the pond was to you- somewhere private, special, magical. Nobody else knew of it's being, and you wished they never would.

One night, you were out in the woods, tending to the pond, when you heard voices from below the surface of the water. "Hello?" You called out. A quiet voice hissed "Children, vain be eyes do seek, to see themselves in sheltered creek. If you search where you cannot see, your soul will then belong to me." You gasped and backed away from the water, and ran.

You had not returned to the pond in many days, for fear of hearing the voice again. Perhaps you had imagined it. You hoped that you had. For someone... Something, to be living in Paradeisos, it was impossible. You considered returning the pond to its previous state- roped in weeds and thorns. But even with the sinister threat that hung in the air, your heart would not let you. As a sprite, you vowed to protect the wildlife and waters, you couldn't be the cause of their undoing. You decided to wait and see if the voice came back. If it did, you would then have to take a course of action, whatever that may be.

One week ago...

On a dark night in autumn, you heard shouts and laughter outside your door. Approaching with caution, you spied a group of four young boys hovering near the entrance to the forest. Your first instinct was to tell them to leave, to go and to never come back. For what reason, though? What could you say? So instead, you watched them enter the forest and silently followed behind. It did not take them long to locate the pond, not that they had been in search of it specifically. The boys cheered and danced around the pond, and one sat at the edge, staring into the water. He mumbled "Can you guys hear that?" He peered around. You were hidden behind a tree, scrutinising at the scene. "Hear what?" The rest of the boys replied in unison. "That voice..." The boy muttered. Then you realised what he was hearing, the same voice you had heard during your last stay. "Beauty..." It whispered. "The boy who wants beauty." The boy studied the water, tilting his head. You could not see what he was seeing at first, but you used your power to levitate just high enough to overlook the entire scene. The most remarkable thing happened moments later. The boy, who had been staring at his reflection, was now face to face with a slimmer, more chiselled version of himself. He took a sharp breath in and the other boys stepped closer. Slowly the boy reached down, his fingers brushing the water. Gradually, he submerged his arm into the water. The boys yelped and tried to grab him, but he batted their arms away. You knew that the water had magic abilities, you were the one to employ them, but you had not done this. It was out of your control. You noticed the water turning dark, shadows creeping up to the surface. The boy was either too mesmerised or too terrified to move, because he only frowned at the darkness which coiled around his arm. Tightening its grip, it swiftly dragged him down into the water. You dropped to the ground. The other three screamed and panicked as their friend flailed about. Even you, in your shocked state, tried to tackle with the creature under the water using your magic. But it was no use, the shadows were powerful, strong. Like nothing you knew of.
