POV: Natsu

"I don't know, Natsu."

When I knocked on Luce's door, I didn't even give her time to let me in or say hello. I straight up asked if she was going to the guild's party tonight. I overheard some of the girls in the guild brainstorm why Lucy said she wasn't really planning on coming. I rushed straight over to ask for myself. The thought of going to that party without my Luce being there makes me uncomfortable, like the time she got sick right before the Flower Viewing Party during Rainbow Cherry Blossom season.

So the first thing I asked when I got here was if she was going. And now she says she doesn't know.

"What? Why? The whole guild is gonna be there! You're not sick again, are you?"

Happy hovers next to me, my little pal is worried about Luce, too.

"No, no. I'm fine. It's just-"

"Please come, Lucy! We're a team and it won't feel right without you!" Happy pleads. Lucy gives the cat an unreadable look, something between weird and sorry, "It's not like this is a job. It's just a party."

"That doesn't mean we're not a team!" I add.

Lucy sighs, "I'm just... Not in the party mood, okay?"

"What's wrong?" I ask without hesitation.

"Nothing!" Lucy starts to get angry, angry and annoyed. I can tell. Her face turns red as she screams at us, "I'm not going and that's that! Now go away and leave me alone!" Lucy slams the door on us. Happy sighs, "Poor Lucy. I can't help but feel she's not telling us something."

I grin, "Well, she's going wether I have to drag her there or not."

I quickly manuver to the wall where Lucy's bedroom window awaits on the second floor. I easily climb up the familiar path and peek into her room. Happy spies through the window beside me.

"Coast clear." I say, almost opening the window when Lucy actually does come into view. I quickly duck back down for a couple seconds before looking again. Happy's voice sounds with concern, "Look. Her face."

I shoot a weird glance at my blue friend before focusing back on Luce. Happy's right. Her face is red and her eyes are bloodshot. She must've been crying. Lucy then goes into the bathroom and when we open the window we can hear the water running. She must be taking a bath. Happy gives me a creepy look, "Why don't you join her?" He teases. I narrow my eyes at the cat, "She needs her space right now so I'll just wait for her here, thank you very much."

"You say that she needs her space as you hang out on her bed, Natsu." Happy remarks. I roll my eyes and cross my feet and arms, intensely staring at nothing in particular as I try to figure out what's going on with Luce.

"Don't think too hard, Natsu. You're brain might explode." Happy draws me from my thinking. It's for the better, I was getting nowhere.

Just a few moments later, Lucy walks out of the bathroom. Her hair is wet and she's wrapped in a towel. She screams, "Get out of my house! I thought I told you to leave me alone!"

"We're not giving up until you promise to come to the party tonight." I deadpan. Lucy glares daggers at me and I can't help but grin. She's so cute when she's mad. Happy then flies up to her, "Lucy, please tell us what's wrong."

Lucy stares at the floor for a while, probably debating what to tell us. I sit on her bed, examining her face as the room remains in silence for the few short moments. Without saying anything, she turns to her closet and grabs some clothes, she then goes into the bathroom to put them on. When she comes out, she takes a deep breath, "I... I'm not the best dancer, okay?"
