Niall's POV

She is back. My Jailee is back. I remember when I first met her, she was on the verge of a breakdown because she was so nervous to try out for the X factor, and there was none of her family, none of her friends there to calm her down. Everyone else, just avoided her, and basically ignored her. So I was sitting there, with my family waiting for them to call my name, when across the room, she was all alone, and sad.

So I excused myself from my family, and made my way over to her. When I got over to her, she seemed fragile. I didn't know what I was planning on saying, or even why I suddenly felt obliged to talk to her. But once I got over there, she looked at me for the first time. Her eyes were near tears, her breathing uneven. She was shaking and looked more delicate than an old china tea set.

"Hi, I'm Niall, are you okay?" I kept my voice low, and my eyes on hers.

"I'm Jailee," she said.

"Is something wrong? You seem a little uneasy."

"A little," she smiled, and right then, as she smiled, I saw a glint in her eyes. A very small glint, but a glint it was. I took in her beauty as she sat there on the crowded bench and looked up at me. She was short, adorably short. Her brown eyes appeared to glow when she smiled, and her smile lit up her face. I knew from that moment on that I wanted her all mine.

"Well you shouldn't be sitting alone, love. Want to come sit with me and my family?" I offered, nodding to where I saw my mom and dad staring at us and smiling. My dad had a proud smile, probably thinking I was asking her for her number or a date or something. My mom had one of those smiles that just said I raised my boy right. She was probably thinking that I was comforting Jailee, that I was being nice.

"Um."

"We don't bite," I said.

"I kinda just wanna stay right here, and wait for my turn."

"Alright. Incase you change your mind just let me know." I said sitting on the ground by her feet.

"Aren't you going to go wait with your family?"

"I would, but I don't think anyone should wait alone."

She laughed at this, and her laugh made me smile. She was too cute, the way her cheeks flamed and her eyelids fluttered closed as she threw her head back. The way she flipped her hair got me overwhelmed(see what i did there hehehe) and her eyes, her eyes, her eyes, irrisistable(hehehehehehe).

She and I joked around until she was in a good mood and she was called out. "Good luck out there," I called.

At last minute she turned around smiled and waved back at me, "you too. See you later." And with that she was gone.

After she left the X factor, we basically lost contact. Until one day I called what someone said her home phone number was, and came back in contact with her. We dated for a little while, and I promised I would call her back and text her everyday after concerts, and I left to go on tour. But I lost her number, even though I had it memorized,

So I never expected to see her again. But when I showed up at Kay and Lou's house, I saw her again, I knew I was in deep trouble. I knew she would be very mad at me, and I prepared myself for the worst, and explained everything.

Now, as I sat down on her bed as she showered, I can't help but think of how coincidential this whole thing seemed. How she suddenly just came back into my life just like how she left it so easily. She must have meant to be in my life from the day we met. It was no coincidence. Call it fate, call it destiny, call it gods plan. Whatever you call it, it worked out very well.
