*Louis' POV*

"I am so sorry she said she didn't want to go over in the first place but I was too nervous to come on my own. This is all my fault!" Jailee quickly apolligized for her friend's actions.

I remembered my Kay upstairs in our bath tub.

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about it Jailee, I'm sure-"

The buzzer sounded: "Uh, um. This is Rebecca from the carpet services? Yeah, I can't get in because your gates are closed. Can you, uh, unlock them or something? Thanks"

Shit. I walked over to the wall with the radio on it and pressed the button that opened the gates.

"I'm not sure if you guys are having plans or anything but I promised Kay..."

"Just go, I'll take care of this. How much of a tip should I give her?" Niall asked as I started up the stairs. I paused, and looked back at him.

"Don't worry about it, when she sees its you just sign a picture and give her twenty." He smiled at this. Being famously loved by so much really made life easier. I'm not saying we use our fame to our advantage, but it is true that we don't get treated like normal people for anything. It's the simplest things that became so difficult to do, they seem so far out of reach.

Going out on regular dates, as in movie and dinner, changed to going on a walk through the city with a shitload of bodyguards, or going to dinner in the fancy reserved booths instead of the cheap leather and scuffed tables. Or even going to the store to get what we need, we have to have one of our guards leave our house to go get whatever we need for us.

Our house alone has such a thick, metal gate that usually has to remain closed when we are home . And when it is open we usually don't get that much paps, just the few neighbors that we happen to make small talk with a few times coming to see how our band is doing and what not.

Now, as I walked back up to Kay who I hope to god was not puking again in our bathtub, I turned around to Niall and Jailee, standing there staring at each other and grinning. They had been laughing at something before I turned around and saw them. There was a knock at the door, and I made my way back upstairs, where I found my Kay still in the bathtub waiting for me. She seemed calmer, more relaxed, once I walked into the bathroom. I smiled down at her, probably replicating the smile that Niall gave Jailee.

We stayed in the tub until the water cooled. Then we got out, and went to bed.

*Kay's POV*

*2 days later*

The dress was really short, and perfect for swing dancing. It was a light pink frilly skirt, with a darker torso that hugged my curves in a way that people could describe as good.  My hair was straightened, my face covered up with powders and gels.

As for Louis, he was wearing a tux with a red bowtie. He had Lou(Teasdale) come over and make him into a different person. His face only resembled himself by certain things, because she had done such a good job with his makeup that he looked like a normal person. Just really attractive, as usual.

"Ready to go to that party?" He asked from the corner of the mirror I was looking in. I turned around to face him, and his jaw dropped slightly. Then before I knew it I walked over to him, took is elbow and hooked it in mine, and walked down the stairs and into the car
