The wolf beyond.(ON HOLD!)

That day she came.

??? POV.

I was running away, I didn't know where I was going or who was behind me but I was running, I didn't even know who I was. That's when I heard it,

"Cmon lil pup, let's play... Where are ya? I just wanna show you this game me and your parents were playing..." I could smell blood on him from a meter away, even if I was ahead of him, I knew I couldn't run any longer until he caught up, and I couldn't hide either.

'What do I do! He killed mama and papa, so I'm next---' I didn't get to finish my thought cause I ran into something big and furry, I thought it was a bear. Until it looked at me and sniffed the air and grabbed me and made a run for it in a certain direction, 'I hope this big wolf knew where it was going.' I thought before passing out in exhaustion.

Alpha Ballin's POV

I was out on patrol by myself since Beta was at the other side of our large territory when I heard branches being snapped I looked around and then felt something small, like a small rock compared to normal wolves, hit my back, I looked at it and saw fear in her eyes. I sniffed the air and smelt blood, but it wasn't on the pup at all, it was on a human who had a lot of silver on them, I picked her up and ran to the cave that was far from my house. I felt her go limp which meant she was unconsious, I was heading to the cave so I could loose the hunter and make a run for my house. We made it to the cave and it had a small entrance which could fit any regular wolf but to small for a human to fit in or notice at all.

I put the pup in there and hid her in some leaves just in case, then went up the hill a while away and watched as the hunter ran the opposite direction of the cave and the hill, not to mention the way to my house also. I ran to the cave and grabbed the pup and ran full speed to my house and I shifted back to human and ran into the house with the pup, I got changed and put the pup on a guest bed. I then walked out of the room into the living room and got a newspaper, but I didn't really pay attention to it, instead I listened as I heard loud clumsy footsteps run up to my doorstep and ring the door bell. I got up and tossed the newspaper onto the coffee table and answered the door to see a 5'1" man standing there looking at me, he had black hair and had hazel eyes. I then spoke up after him shaking in fear.

"What do you want Kipper? I don't like hunters that hunt innocent wolves in my house or on my yard. Make this quick." He just smiled and said:

"You know they are real c'mon you've seen them, I just hunt them for the money and also since some kill innocent PEOPLE or did you forget about your own family?" I just mentally smirked since he doesn't know that his 'best friend' is a wolf.

"Anyways I was lookin' for this small wolf pup that my friend wants, have ya seen her?" He said. I could smell the blood and lies off of him. I started closing the door saying 'nope haven't seen her sorry bud' he just sighed and ran off to the woods to look again.

A couple hours later, Lisa walked in with the twins and she had three bags of clothes, jackets and probably some other stuff for the school the girls will be going to. The girls had each one bag, with Thorn carrying it on her back with the handle in her mouth. I laughed at the sight when Thorn sniffed then growled at the stairs. I looked over to see a 5-6 year old girl with black-almost blue hair, she had a strange pair of eyes, one was grey with the other being dark blue. She whimpered and I ran to her and just smiled at her to reassure her that thorn won't bite or harm her. Lisa came over and picks the girl up, knowing that she was in the house since I texted her when she was still in the store in town. She had bought extra clothes and shoes and other stuff for the little girl. All of them just went upstairs to change into pj's, except for Thorn. She looked at me and growled then I realize why, she had been so happy with just being a wolf that she started acting like it more, she wasn't mad at me at all, she was signaling me to get dinner ready for all five of us. I nodded and chuckled when she went to her room 'how much you have grown from that small fragile pup to this confident leading wolf, I have never been more proud of Fawn, Lisa, and myself for bringing you out of your small shell and making you a independent young wolf.' I thought. I then started the food and then felt as if someone was watching me from behind, when I turned around I saw 2 little girls one with pink hair and the other with blackish-blue, and my mate Lisa standing by the entrance, when they noticed I was looking the little girl with blackish-blue hair hid behind my mate. I had finished the food and called Thorn down to eat, when she came down she huffed at what was behind me, I turned and saw my mate with a smile on her face and my daughter Fawn with wide eyes looking at the other young girl, that was sitting in Thorn's seat. She walked over with her head down, looking like she was going to attack her but what she did next surprised me. She jumped up on the chair and sat by the young girl that was only a couple months or a year older than her. We all ate in silence while me and Lisa discussed how I came across the young girl, using our telepathic link.

(Sorry if you didn't like this or if it was to long but I really wanted to add another character I this in the twins' early life, she is important to the twins in the future too, anyway thanks for reading I'll make a new chapter right away, and I have written a about 1,067 words without this little authors note, ✌️😆 well bye👋😆)
