Thorn's POV.
It has been a month since the first day of school, and it's the weekend, I was practicing my abc's when dad and Jaren came in, they glanced at me, and then walked outside which was the signal that told me to get outside and transform into my wolf form. But I felt different when I did transform, I was looking at them in curiosity when they gasped, they looked at my back? I turned my head and right there was a pair of wings? 'What happened?' I thought, then mom came outside and they all bowed down at me, even Rose who just came outside with Fawn. Fawn didn't bow cause she was as confused as me. My mom and dad explained that if a wolf had wings, they were rare, and since I was born a wolf, I was the most rarest of them all. I literally freaked out but then I thought of me looking like my first wolf form and then there was a bright light. I saw and hear the others gasp then they smiled at me and said, 'your wings are gone' or 'where did they go?' My mom had me sit down and tell them what I did to make the wings go away, I told her all I did was think of my first wolf form. She then explained that since I was born a wolf then that must be it.
Next day.
Thorn's POV.
Today is another day of school, mom said that she and dad wouldn't be home after school since they had to go meet up with another pack to discuss something 'important'. Then I thought 'either it's me or something dangerous, or maybe both? I don't know---' I didn't finish because I bumped into someone, I looked up since I fell, I saw an outstretched hand, I took it. He pulled me up and asked if I was ok, I nodded and then I caught his scent and almost let out a inhuman growl. He smelled off, I don't know what it was but it wasn't right. Rose was nearby and turned when she heard me fell, she let out a small growl that only I could here, she ran to me and took me away from him. I didn't catch his name but I didn't care, he smelled familiar but not a good familiar, I think I've smelt it before, wait a sec!!! The day Rose came!!! I was patrolling outside an---
"oof!" I ran into something, or someone. Wait it's Rose. She stoped?
"Stay behind me Thorn, no matter what..." She said...
