Ed's POV

The sunlight glares through the blinds of my dressing room and forces me to open my eyes.  I feel my head resting against soft fabric, and I'm momentarily confused before I realise that Gary is gone.  I sit up suddenly and scan the room for any sight of him.  My eyes fall on the mirror, and I see a post-it note stuck  to my forehead.  Typical Gary.  I pull it off and begin to read:

  Ed,

You did wake up when I left, but knowing you, you've probably forgotten, so I thought I'd leave this note just in case.  I decided to leave it on your forehead primarily because the thought of you running around looking for me naked amuses me, but also because life's more fun with a few surprises.  Anyway, I've gone to rehearsals, so when you do wake up and receive this message, stop by if you want.

  Love,

  G x

I read the message three times over, taking in every detail.  His usually scruffy writing looks neater than usual, and my heart leaps at the thought of him doing it just for me, but I could just be reading too far between the lines.  With the note still in my hand I pull on some clothes.

I peer around the black curtains lining the stage from my backstage hiding place.  All of their equipment is on the stage, but not one member of the band is there.  I'm about to walk out onto the tage to see if they're hiding anywhere else in the auditorium, when I feel a pair of familiar arms slip around my waist.  Gary starts to kiss my neck, and I tilt my head back to welcome his kisses.  He spins me around so that I'm facing him and smiles.

  "Good morning," I say.

"Good afternoon," he corrects, and shows me his watch.  Sure enough, his watch reads 1:32 pm.

"I didn't really sleep that late, did I?"

"I must have tired you out," he laughs and leans in to kiss me.  I run my hands through his soft hair, wrapping the locks around my fingers, whilst is hands stay firmly around my waist.  He starts to kiss me harder, and I respond, kissing him with more intensity.  I wrap my legs around his waist to bring him closer, but he can't hold my weight and loses his balance.  He falls, me underneath him, and brings the curtain down with us.
