A Summer in April

Chapter 3

      I grabbed my black bag off the couch and rushed out of the door. I had overslept 30 mins, I had to be at the office by 9 and it was currently 8:49. I skid out of my apartment parking lot and onto the road.
      I barely made it into the parking lot a 9:00. I rushed in and checked in with the receptionist. She told me that Mr. Horan would be here any minute. I had not yet learned exactly what my job was but I was still eager to do whatever I was told, as long as that didn't include taking my clothes off.
      I was sitting at a chair in the waiting room when the blond from the club came around the corner. I gasped as I looked him up and down. He had on slightly tight black slacks and a white polo. He looked at me with flushed cheeks then immediately glanced down at the ground. I stood up to greet him. "Hi Mr. Horan." I cleared my throat after the statement, he continued to look at the ground as he stood right in front of me. "I..I have a appointments at a..t 9:30, are you ready to go." He mumbled under his breath, still not looking at me. I mumbled an okay and followed behind him.
I followed him outside the building and into a black sub. I sat next to him but making sure that I wasn't close enough to touch him. "So where are we going?" He didn't answer me. "Did you hear me?" He put his hands over his ears and put his head in his lap. "Please shut up!" He growled at me. My cheeks flushed a dark red and I put my head down. I scooted as far as I could across the seat to get away from him. He was being an absolute asshole. It's my first day of work and I have no idea what my job even is and where I'm going in this car with a guy who is acting like a crusty hoe.
The car pulled up to a small brick building. The driver came to the door and opened it for me, Niall was behind me and I felt like slamming the door in his face but the man continued to hold it. How this man could be so sweet one day to an absolute asshole the next I don't  understand. We walked in the building me following behind Niall. There was a receptionist sitting at a desk. "Hi Mr. Horan I'll tell Nancy your here." She gave him a sweet smile and picked up the phone. Standing there awkwardly shifting on my two feet because my feet hurt. "Do..do you need to yo..u..use the potty." He said looking at me with wide eyes. I had to hold back a chuckle because he was obviously very serious. "No I'm fine." He looked me up and down and smiled. These mood swings would be the death of me. "She'll see you now." Niall stood up and started walking towards a glass door where I'm guessing this Nancy lady's office was.
      I sat there for almost an hour playing on my phone waiting for him to come out. I wanted to ask the driver where we were and what we were doing but I didn't want him thinking I was trying to pry. Eventually Niall came out and we got back into the car. I got in first and he scooted close to me our hands almost touching. "That's my talk lady." "Your what?" "My talk lady Nancy I talk to her every week." I looked at him funny for a minute and then realised what he was trying to say. "She's your therapist?" "Yea..yes that." I gave him a small nod and pulled out my phone to put that down on my schedule. "You nice face Ja..Jackie." I blushed an continued to type on my phone. "Thank you." I murmured. "Can I..I  touch your lipppps?" Before I could question what he was doing he was reaching out to touch my lips. He ran his soft fingertips across my lips gently. He looked at them like he had never seen lips before. He then pulled away and patted his fingertips to his lips. "I want kiss one day."

Au: Hey guys sorry it took me a while to update I have been REALLY busy with school work and it makes it really difficult to try and update. I tried to make this chapter a little longer because I know I like to read books with a good amount of pages.
