Good job~! love these types of stories.

I love Scarlet, or Aura, she's a very independent woman, and she's murderous, but she has a reason to do so. She protects ones that she knows and are harmed or hurt.

I feel bad for her since she escaped that villainous place, and with her best friend/sister dying of an experiment. It is cruel to treat children like this.

As I would say,

When nothing can protect you, you have to be the one to protect yourself.

Humanity, is like that. But overall nice writing and continue!!
