Love and War Don't Mix

Month later

I start to open my eyes and I look around to see that I'm in a hospital bed.   I see Gemma sitting beside me rocking a baby. I go to move but my muscles wouldn't let me. "Rayna dear calm down and take things slow." Gemma says. I nod my head and lean back down and she sits the baby down and walks out to get the doctor. "Hi Ms. Teller how you feeling?" The doctor ask. "Fine my head hurts some." I say. "That's normal just stay in bed and we will run test later on today." The doctor says. He leaves and Gemma picks the baby back up and brings him over to me. "Thomas?" I ask. I look up at Gemma and she nods her head an places him in my arms and I look down at him and smile crying a little. "Hi baby boy mommy is here now." I say. Gemma smiles and leaves the room for a little bit and Lyla walks in. "Oh my gosh he is so adorable." Lyla says. "Haven't you seen him already?" I ask. "No only one who has seen him is the doctor and nurses of course and Gemma." Lyla says. "And Jax?" I ask. Lyla looks down and I knew something was up. "Get Gemma in here." I say. She leaves and Gemma walks in and looks at me. "Gemma where is Jax?" I ask. "The Feds are blaming him, Tig, Chibs, and Opie for a murder they didn't do so there in jail for a few months." Gemma says. "Is there anyway I can talk to him?" I ask. "No there trying to get them to pled guilty so they cut of all outside sources." Gemma says. I look down at Thomas and begin to tear up. "What's wrong honey?" Gemma ask. "This is the third kid he will miss out on." I say. "Oh honey he will be out soon they can't find any proof on that they did it." Gemma says. "I don't care Gemma this is the last one we can have the doctor said so when he told me about the c section he told me he was going to take out my ovaries with the complications I have with child birth I agreed." I say. Gemma looks at me shocked and shakes her head. "Well I hate to here that your still young but that's fine your choice and doctors choice." Gemma says. "Well I figured that this could be are last one." I say. "I understand gunny." Gemma says. The nurse walks in and Gemma leaves and the baby starts fussing. "Would you like to breast feed?" The nurse ask. "I'm yea." I say. She helps me get all set up and helps me get Thomas in position and he takes hold and begins to suckle. The nurse leaves and I feed Thomas then once done I burp him and sit him in his crib and we take a nap. I wake up a few minutes later and rock Thomas back to sleep. Soon the doctor walks in and pulls up a chair. "We are going to run some test on you in a few of the test come back good you can go home tomorrow but you have to rest and take things easy for a week ok." The doctor says. I say ok they take Thomas and start the test and I pass them all and I pack my bags and put Thomas in his carrier and Gemma picks the him up and I sit down in the wheelchair and they wheel me out and I get into the back of the car. "Ready to go home and meet your big brother and sister?" I ask. Thomas just yawns and goes back to sleep and Gemma drives us home. Once there she parks and we get out and take Thomas inside where Lyla and the kids awaited. I set Thomas down and picked him up and sat down on the couch and Abel and Clarity came over. "Mommy is this our new brother?" Clarity ask. "Yes honey it is." I say. Clarity smiles and kisses his forehead and Abel does the same and they play with his little fingers till Lyla wanted to hold him. I handed him over and went to the bathroom and used the bathroom then washed my hands and walked out. I go into the kitchen and hear the house phone so I grab it and answer it.
Me: Hello
Jax: Oh thank god your home darlin I have been worried sick about you.
Me: Jax oh my god I have missed you.
Jax: I have missed you to Rayna how is Thomas doing?
Me: He seems to be doing fine.
Jax: I'm so sorry about all of this Rayna I should be there.
Me: You should but you can not help that honey we will be here waiting for you when you get back.
Jax: I'm glad to here that I love you Rayna tell the kids the same I have to go.
Me: I will.
I hang up the house phone and go back into the living room and Gemma hugs me and I tell her Jax and them are good and then everyone leaves and I fix the kids supper feed Thomas and then get them all cleaned up and into bed because they have school tomorrow then I put Thomas in his crib in mine and Jax's room and go to sleep.
