Love and War Don't Mix

Jax is coming home

It's been a year since I seen Jax Abel is finally six, Clarity is five, and little Thomas is one. It's done gotten cold but not to bad. We are currently waiting for Jax and the guys to get back. "Rayna there coming." Gemma says. I stand up and pick Thomas up and hear the bikes they pull in and I instantly feel like something is wrong. I look at the guys and only see three when there should of been four. I walk over to Jax as soon as he gets off and he hugs me and the kids run up to him and hug him then I look at him and see he has shorter hair and everything. "Jax where is Tig?" I ask. "Still inside." Jax says. I just nod my head and he takes Thomas and plays with him till Clay calls them inside. I look at Gemma and she looks at me and walks over. "Take the kids and pack some bags." Gemma says. "What why?" I ask. Just do it." Gemma says. I get my kids into the car and drive home and pack some bags and put them into the car and I got a text from Gemma telling me an address so I put it into the GPS and follow the directions my kids falling a sleep in the process. I get to a house and I pull up and park and grab the keys that Gemma put in my purse and go unlock the door and turn on lights. It was a nice little house up high in the mountains. I go get Clarity and carry her in and place her in a room and do the same with Abel and Thomas. I put them all in the same bed expect for Thomas I put him in the crib and go to the living area and lay down on the couch and fall a sleep.
I wake up to crying and go get Thomas and pick him up rocking him until he falls back a sleep. I sit him in the crib and go back into the living area and check my phone that tells me it's only five in the morning. Well I couldn't go back to sleep so I take a look around the house and see that it was Gemma's fathers house and I remember how she told me she had to put him in a nursing home. I grab my phone and step outside and call Gemma hoping she was up.
Gemma: Morning dear.
Me:Gem what the hell is going on.
Gemma: The club is going through a lot Juice is going to be up there in a few hours to keep watch with a prospect.
Me: So that's all I'm going to get.
Gemma: Yea I got to go.
I glare at the phone and decided not to deal with this anymore so I smash the phone and go grab my kids and put them back into the car I grab my keys and start driving to the only place I know I can go. I had been driving for hours until I finally reach my destination and park. I get my kids out and then grab Thomas and carry him to the door. I grab my keys and unlock the door and the kids run inside. I carry Thomas in and set up the play crib put him in it put the tv on cartoons and go order pizza. See I bought this house a few years ago before I came back in case Jax didn't want me to stay I just never sold it and the money I get from the salon. I grab the spare phone and order pizza and then go sit on the couch with my kids. "Mommy where is daddy?" Abel ask. "He is away for now we are staying here ok." I say. He nods his head and Thomas cries so I go and feed him then the pizza comes and I pay for it and feed my kids. I give them a bath and put them to bed and read them a story then take me a shower and go to bed.
