Reality is where the bad guys win,
Where to be evil isn't equal to sin.
It's equivalent to being happy, they say.
They whispered "It will take all your worries away."
So I fooled myself and acted like I was another being,
I lived up to what they want they were expecting.
I followed what they say and stick to their rules,
Villains wanted me to fit in and be cool,
even if it means I am hurting myself,
strangling to portray another image that I am not,
afraid to reveal myself because that's close to feel like I'm getting shot.
shot at the opportunity to let people see the real me.
Shot at the opportunity to be happy.
But as when light was closing in,
and darkness was just about to win,
a flicker of hope from someone who made it out,
just had to let out a shout.
She says,
"When you still got strength, you fight.
Fight for who you are inside,
don't worry, love will be on your side.
Beauty deep within,
let people see what's beneath your skin.
Remove your mask,
for in this world full of villains,
to be a hero is all I ask."
