Thursday/ tutoring

"Nate I need to focus oh my god. I can't do this if you're going to text this whole time" I sighed fixing my messy hair. He put his phone in the pocket of his sweatpants, "I'm sorry. Now you said the law of sines is SinA/Sina ? And same for b and c?" He said writing in his notes. I nodded. "Now that you know that, try solving this triangle" I said tapping the second problem on the sheet. Sam walked in as he worked, "Whys he here?" He asked confused. "I tutor him now Tuesday's and Thursday's" I said. He laughed, "funny that you have a student a year younger than you to tutor you in a class you should've passed last year" Sam joked. "Shut the fuck up man!" Nate groaned. "Sam, quit distracting him! He was doing good" I said.

"Thanks for the help, I really do appreciate it" Nate said hugging me. "Not a problem Nathan. Just try to pay attention some more okay?" I laughed. He nodded, "see you crazy children tomorrow" he said walking out of the house. "Mom and dad called while I was driving home, they'll be home tomorrow sometime while we are in school" he told me. I nodded, "Great, two more people that will baby me again" I said. He laughed "it's only cause we love you Ash" he said. "Yeah yeah, I heard. Now what are we having for dinner because I'm starving." I laughed, putting all my belongings away. He shrugged, "Anything because I'm pretty hungry myself" he chuckled. I grabbed my backpack and took it up to my room, thinking about the note from my locker. It happened two days ago and it's been the only one since. I pushed the thought aside and sat on my bed. "Ash we can go get pizza with the Jacks and Nate if you want!" Sam yelled from downstairs. "I guess," I sighed taking my phone and meeting him downstairs. "You don't have to go Ashlynn. It was an offer" he told me. I nodded, "Yeah but I'm hungry and don't feel like waiting for you to bring something back. Now let's go" I said walking out. We got in Sam's car and drove to the nearby pizza place that was and still is my favorite place. "Woah you convinced her to go?" Nate said as we walked in the building. "Haha, very funny. Now shutup before I walk my ass back home" I said, sitting between Sam and Nate. "It was only a joke. I'm glad you came," Nate chuckled. I shrugged and sat there, listening to the boys be boys. "Y'all see the new girl Sierra! She gotta nice ass," Sam smirked. The Jacks agreed but Nate stayed quiet. Weird, he's usually the first to say something. "Nate you haven't seen her or something?" Gilinsky asked. He shook his head. "Must not have yet. I don't care to either, I got my eye on someone else man" he said. "Don't go soft fuckboy" Sam chuckled. I laughed, "yeah fuckboy" I smiled. Nate pouted "you're suppose to be on my side" Nate said. I laughed, "I'm on nobody's side but my own, sorry" I smiled.

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I groaned and sat up in my bed, shivering at the cold air hitting me. I suddenly got dizzy, but like I've said before, it's normal. I got up and went into the bathroom to shower. I got out, wrapping a towel around my body and one for my hair. "Sis you gonna be ready in 10?" Sam asked. "I'm gonna have to be I guess" I said back. I slid on some sweatpants and a hoodie, putting my hair in a bun so I'd have my natural curls by the time I took it out at school. I did only mascara today, not having enough time to do the rest. "You look like your gonna fight someone today. Please don't, mom and dad come home today and that's not exactly something that screams "welcome home!"' He laughed. I smiled, "Shutup and take us to school" I said. We walked out to his car and drove to school.
      Sam and I parted ways so he could go to his friends and I go to mine. "Please be careful today, okay? I can see you don't feel good today already" Sam told me. "I'll be fine. I'll go to the nurse if I need it. I'll see you later" I said hugging him.  I walked to the lockers where we sit everyday, holding one hand on my stomach under my hoodie. Yeah, half my stomach was showing but I didn't care because Sam was right, I don't feel good. I walked with my eyes focused on the floor, bumping into someone. "Watch where you're going!" He yelled. I stumbled a little, and of course Nate saw me. "Don't talk to her like that! You watch where your going man!" Nate yelled from where he stood. I looked at him and quickly walked off.  "Hey cutie," Alyssa smiled, looking up at me. "Hey" I smiled back, opening up my locker. I gathered my books to have them bring a note out with them. Here we go again.

I sure hope you don't know who I am yet. And if you do, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I've gained feelings for you because I know that I probably shouldn't. You're just so gorgeous. It's sad what's going on with you though at such a young, vulnerable age. I wish I could help I'm sorry. See you this week

"Another one?" (DJ khaled voice bye) Alyssa said. I nodded sticking it in my bag. "Did you atleast figure out who it is?" Alyssa asked. "This note mentions my condition and the only people I've told is you, Tyler, my family obviously and then my-" I stopped myself. It can't be one of them could it? "M-my brothers f-friends" I stuttered. "It couldn't be one of them, could it? It's not you or Ty..." I mumbled. "It can't be! Whoever it is says they gained feelings for me! That'd mean one of my brothers friends has a crush on me." I said so confused now. "Woah," she said just as confused. "I gotta go to class early, I'll see you there" I said getting up. "Want me to walk you there?" She asked. I looked at her, "Right don't baby you" she laughed sitting back down. I walked to class like any other day, focusing on the floor. I walked into my class and saw two other students in there. And one of them was Nate. He was sitting in the desk next to mine, since we don't have assigned seats. "You're early," I said sitting in my seat. "Yeah, I figured I'd take your advice. Maybe it'll help some" he chuckled. "Hey I gotta question and it's a little odd I guess" I said. "Okay go," he said playing with his pencil. "You aren't the one writing notes and sticking them in my locker, are you?" I asked. "What?" He laughed. "Yeah two times now I've opened my locker to see notes fall out. The one I got today mentioned my condition and the only people that know about it are you, the jacks, Alyssa, Tyler and my family" I said. "It wasn't Tyler?" He asked. "Nope," I sighed. "Let me see them," he said

Nate's POV

"Let me see them," I said. She pulled the papers from her bag and handed them to me. I definitely was the one writing them but she can't know that. "Nope, not mine" I said, lying right in her face. "Don't lie to me Maloley" she said. She can know it's me, just not so soon. "I'm not!" I said holding my hands up. "Cross my heart and hope to die" i said. "I wish I knew, I'd feel so much better than just going on everyday knowing someone has some feelings for someone who's dying, ya know?" She sighed. I mentally sighed, "You'll be okay, Ash." I said. "Let's talk about something happier, yeah?" I smiled. "Like what? We're in school it doesn't get any worse than that?" She laughed. "Your parents come home today! Aren't you happy for that?" I asked. "Well yeah but now that's just two more people to baby me and I don't want that," she said. "And please, your happy about them coming home because you love our moms cooking" she laughed. "Okay you're right, you got me there" I laughed.

She can't find out its me yet. She just...can't. If she finds out, Sam finds out and he'll kill me for liking his sister.
