I walk back inside and throw my shirt off. "Nelly can you cut down the air." I'm sweaty and hot. Cooling down too fast will have me sick as hell. "Oh I thought you were Nelly."

"Nope just me. Look at you with Abs and shit." August says. I laugh grabbing a bottle out of the fridge.

"So a Tre stopped by earlier. I didn't let him in but he said you had something to tell me." I take a giant gulp. "Really?" I don't think it's anything I need to say. I feel like we've discussed everything."

"You still haven't changed." He says chuckling. "What do you mean?" I ask closing the bottle. "I would believe you but you can't look at me and say it." I turn my head towards his, "What?" I ask. He's talking crazy. "When you're lying or ashamed about something you don't make direct eye contact."

"You don't know what you you're saying. There's nothing I need to tell you." I say looking at him this time. He stares at me. "You sure?" I shake my head. "Yes."

"So what was he talking about?" He asks. "I don't know." I shrug my shoulders. Damn I do it again, hopefully he didn't notice this time. "Alright Sincere." That sounded so unbelievable but I'll take it.

I walk into the kitchen. "Want something to eat?" I yell asking. "Sure." He says walking back inside the kitchen. He takes a seat at the island in the middle of the kitchen. "So..."

"Sooo.." I say back. "You gone ask about her or do I have to act like I didn't see my letter balled up." I laugh, "Kayla must've gotten ahold to it." It stays quiet as I cook.

"So who is she?" I ask sitting the plate of pasta down in front of him. "She was a fraud man. She came in there and had stuff sounding real good." I laugh, "So what happen?"

"What you think happen? I never contacted her again." He says. I laugh harder. "Kind of fucked up you let some random bitch come see you but I couldn't." He glances up from his plate. "You ain't have time to wait on me."

"You don't know what I had time to do." A smirk forms of his face, "Man you was pregnant. You ain't need me, you had a child to think of." I roll my eyes. He laughs. "What's so funny?" I ask with an attitude. "You... You act like your life turned out horrible because you ain't get to see me. You living nice as hell. Why you complaining?"

"It would've been nice to included my best friend in life other than through a damn letter."

"It's over and done with now. I'm here aren't I?"

I suck my teeth, "It doesn't matter you've missed the most important parts."

"Like what?"

"Dre's proposal, Kayla being born, a lot."

"I'm sure the proposal was grand and extra as fuck and I'm sure Kay's birth was a glorious sight to see."

I roll my eyes, "Shut up."

"Still fighting people?"

I laugh, "Nigga. Goodbye." I take my plate into the kitchen. "That was yo favorite thing to do back in the day." He says. "Should we recall what your favorite to do was? Besides play with my damn feelings."

"What? Crazy talk. I ain't do no such thing. I just fucked bitches, got money, illegally I'll add, and chased after yo ass."

"Whatever."

"You know it's true Sincere." I twist my lips, "Lies. I wasn't a bitch and we fucked." I say as we walk into the living room. "I thought about that moment when I saw you."

"What about it?" I ask. "Just how it was. Shit really wasn't suppose to happen but I ain't complaining about either." I'm not either because then I wouldn't have Kayla. "Yeah it was alright."

He laughs, "Get the hell outta here. Alright? Okay."

"You remember otherwise?"

"Hell yeah. I had plenty of time to replay that in my head too. Must be talking about you and Dre." I laugh covering my mouth. "Speaking straight facts Sin." He says laughing. "Whatever."

"Can I kiss you?" He asks taking me by surprise. "What?" I ask out of habit. "You're about to be a married woman. It's disrespectful I know but Can I kiss you?" I sit there in disbelief of what he asked. He's said it twice and my brain still hasn't registered when he asked the first time. While my brain is trying to catch up the throbbing between legs is ahead of the game. "Yes."

Our lips collide into each other as our tongues fight for dominance. It begins to feel like the temperature in the room has risen and these clothes have got to go. My brain is telling me no! This is wrong! But my heart is beating ten times fast and feels so right.

He slowly enters into me, taking his sweet time. The feeling of being young lovers, all giddy and excited, like it use to be before is clear to see in both of our eyes. He reaches for my bra hooks. Suddenly feeling shy I try covering my chest he's exposed. "Nah Sin come on." He holds my hands above my head and gives them all his undivided attention. As my moans fill the room my heart becomes torn.

We lay there exhausted. Hours have went by and I want to get up but I can't. "What time is it?" I ask. "4:30." I quickly get up, "Dre will be here any minute."

"Sincere I..." He stops talking. "You what August?" I ask. "Nothing. This stays between us." He winks. "Okay." I respond walking out of the room. That was amazing in a very wrong sort of way. What am I doing? I ask myself as I walk up the stairs to my room. "Mommy!" Kayla yells running up the stairs. "Hey baby girl."

"I'm sweaty baby I can't pick you up right now." Dre walks in the room. "Just getting in from your jog I see."

"You know it. How was daddy daughter day?"

"Fun." Kayla says showing me her bracelet. "Yes it was." Dre says. "It would've been better if our favorite mommy could've been there." He says kissing my forehead. "Maybe next time." He smiles, "We'd love that. Go ahead and shower and dressed baby. We have ball to attend tonight and you know I need my trophy on my arm." I crack a smile, "Okay baby."
