The interview

As you stepped inside the building the fear was building up more and more. The reception looked warm and welcoming which helped you calm down very little. Taemin walked towards the receptionist as you looked around the room, he soon catches up to you and asking "you ready?" you nodded your head shyly he chuckled at you "you will be fine my love, don't worry." as he leads you towards the room. The both of you walked to the room, the hallways were full of pictures of the SM members you couldn't believe you were here. Finally, you arrived at the room Taemin knocked on the door waiting for a response. Soon after the door opened to reveal an elderly looking man you instantly knew it was the CEO, you both bowed 90 degrees. He showed a sincere smile and let both of you go into the office. Once you sat down the CEO man could see you were tense he calmed you down by saying "Don't worry, I don't bite" you smiled shyly in response. He started to ask questions "what's your name?" "(Y/N)" (first name, middle and last name) "How old are you?" You were scared that he asked that there is quite a big age difference. As you started to speak you were stuttering "I - I am 18 years old." He nodded his head, looking unamused then asked: "why do you like him?" You laughed awkwardly stating "I liked him since I was 12. I fell for his personality and his smile, I truly do care for him even though we only met for the first time a couple days ago." The CEO smiled sincerely after he asked Taemin the same question his response was "I fell for her before I even met her. I want this relationship to continue." Soo-man smiled widely. Seeing that smile you knew it was good news. He began saying "I know that you both truly love one another and for that, I will accept this relationship. However, with the public, we will, unfortunately, deny the relationship because with the recent threats it is the safest option for you both."You wanted to protest. You were upset that it would be declined, you knew it will make things worse in the long term but pretended to respect what the CEO was saying. You both bowed in gratitude and left. On the way to the car, you were quiet. Taemin noticed and held your hand. You weren't the type to talk about emotions and he was aware of that. Once inside the car, Taemin began to head back to the dorms. Whilst in the car, the silence filled the air for a while. No one wanted to talk. Until Taemin cleared his throat, he tried to say to you reassuringly "Jayiah, I know it's bad but we can't do anything about it."To be honest, you were insulted by Taemin's remark. The way he said it made you feel like he was already giving up on you both coming out officially. You commented back "The way you are describing it, it sounds like your too scared to come out with our relationship."Taemin was shocked from your snarky comment and carried on driving filling the car with silence once again.
