Chapter 3 ~ Hard times and Graduation ~

Millie's POV

I screamed as loud as I can.

Before I knew it my dad had me clutched on his chest, the knife resting on my neck.

"Let go of me!" I screamed, my lungs felt like they were ripping.

4 policemen ran into the room, one had a gun, one a knife, and two with tranquilizer guns.

Dad let go of me and fell to the floor.

I stared at him, confused. there were two tranquilizers in his butt.

I bit my lip really hard, stifling my giggles.

" Are you ok ma'am?"

"How old are you?"

"What's that on your face?"

"Do you need a hospital?"

I turned to look at them

"Yes, 17 my dad cut me and no." I said all in one breath.

They turned around and left, dragging my unconscious dad with them.

Suddenly there was a rush, paramedics came into the room, they started to wheel me away, into an ambulance, and then there was blackness.

~~~~ 2 months later at graduation~~~~~~~~~

"I'm soo excited!" Nicole screamed.

Nicole is very lively and loves to sing, she is a 1d superfan and loves animals. she has short, extremely curly hair, and big brown eyes, she has tanned skin and she wears contacts, sometimes she wears glasses.

I laughed at her jumping up and down in her long robe.

"We're gonna graduate!!"

I started to wish she didn't drink red bull.

We both live in London, except I had to move to the really posh estate in the west of London. I also went to see 1D with Nicole two days ago. THEY WERE AMAZAYN! I could've sworn I saw Niall wink at me!

"Millie!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a very excited Nicole.

"Come on we need to go!"

I got up from where I was sitting and followed Nicole on stage, I went to stand next to her, my hand on her shoulder keeping her still.

-to the bit where they say colleges and stuff-

After everyone had their colleges announced, it was finally my turn.

"Millie Roders, please step forward."

I shakily stepped forward, my heart going too fast for my liking

"Redwood College, fine arts scholarship"

I zoned back in, taking the scroll and walking back to nNicole.

The great thing about college is that Nicole is in the same college, and the same scholarship too.

Nicole sings, and I play about every instrument, lol.

We were told to exit the stage, but before, we threw our hats into the crowd!

We trooped back to the changing rooms to put on our clothes.

I put on beige high waisted shorts, with a white tank top that says, love is forever, with an infinity sign, and nude heels. I grabbed my beige blazer and slipped it on.

I put on my silver infinity necklace and stuffed my robe into the bag.

I walked out to see Nicole, she was wearing a red sweater with a brown belt, and light brown jeans, she was wearing her black heels.

We strode out, arm in arm, as we got to Nicole's car. after the 'incident' I had to live in New York, but I'm going to London for college.

We drove to the airport and got in, me and Nicole decided we would spend our holiday in the UK, so we flew out today.

"Hey Nicole!"

"What up"

"Put the music on!!"

"Fine gurl!''

She turned the knob onto the radio, and the intro to best song ever blasted out from the speaker.

Me and Nicole exchanged glances, knowing what to do.

MAYBE IT'S THE WAY SHE WALKED! STRAIGHT INTO MY HEART AND STOLE IT!

me and Nicole collapsed into hysterics.

She found a parking space and then we lugged all of our bags to the door. when it opened I was nearly knocked over from the screaming.
