Star's Point of View

I knew I shouldn't have even came. I should have made any other excuse to tell Tyler I couldn't make it.

"I'm just going to go," I said standing up.

I looked at Tyler, and he had a smirk on his face. What the hell? Is it finding this funny?

"Remember when we had to run from coach, when he caught us sneaking in the stadium after school hours?" He asked, grabbing my hands.

I couldn't help but laugh, and nod my head. How can I forget? That was the night he hurt his ankle, later we found out it was sprained, jumping a wall. He was a tough guy, and said it didn't hurt, but when he got up to continue running, every other word out of his mouth was ouch.

"Well good, come on," he said smiling.

Before I could object, he grabbed my hand, and pulled me with him. I didn't know where we we're going, and I don't know why I didn't just stop, but I just ran along with him. Much to my surprise, I found my self laughing. After running for at least ten minutes, we lost her. He pulled me in-between two buildings, where we couldn't be seen by anyone.

"Now, that was fun. I'm sorry, I just don't feel like dealing with her right now," he said, running his hand through his hair.

"Yeah it was, I'm surprised your ankle held up," I said, still laughing.

"Oh my, you remember that?" He asked, laughing himself.

"Of course I do. It was your Prom night. That was the night I lost my...," I said, trailing off.

"Yeah, It was also the night I lost my virginity too you know?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Now that, I didn't know. He was so perfect that night, I automatically thought he was experienced.

"No , I didn't know. Wow," I replied still shocked.

"Well, I did. Listen Star, I'm sorry about everything. I'm sorry for not staying and trying to just get you back, instead of going of to a college that I really didn't want to go to in the first place. I'm sorry for not trying to get in touch with you when I left. What I am not sorry or, is never getting over you. You meant the world to me Star, and no matter what I have done these last few years, when I went to bed at night, it was you that filled my head. Whether that was wondering what you were up to now, or thinking back and cherishing our memories, it was always you I went to bed dreaming about," he said, as I felt a tear roll down my cheek.

Was I really crying? I went to reach my hand up to wipe whatever wetness it was on my cheek, but Tyler was there with his hand on my face, and wiping it away with his thumb.

"Thanks," I replied. "I forgive you," I whispered.

I did forgive him for not coming after me, how can I not? It was my choice to leave him before he left for college.

"Thank you," he said, and put his arms around me.

I'm not going to lie, it felt good to be back in his arms. A minute later, he pulled away and looked me in the eyes. I tried taking a step back, but he backed me up into a brick wall.

"There is one more thing I am sorry for," he said, putting one hand on my waist, and the other hand on the wall behind my head. Our lips were only centimeters apart.

I was to shocked to even move, or say anything, so I just stared at him. I knew it was something I shouldn't have done, but I looked him in the eyes. I'd be fine, I didn't get lost in his eyes every single time.

"I'm sorry for this," he said, closing the gap between our faces.

For some reason, I leaned up, as he leaned down. Right before our lips touched, my theme, blasted from somewhere. I wouldn't say I was happy it went off, but I'm happy it did before our lips touched. I would have felt bad kissing Tyler, while I am dating Dean. I'm not one to mess with two men at once, even if it was only dating, and not being committed to just one. Before I can ask where the music was coming from, Tyler smiled backing up, and reached into his pocket.

"I'm sorry," he said, looking at his phone.

I couldn't believe he now had my theme, which is our song, as his ringtone. I couldn't really say anything, because I still had his as mine.

"It's okay, I have to go anyway. I'm leaving in a few hours for Illinois," I told him.

The truth was, I knew if I stayed there any longer, we would have found a way to kiss, and I didn't want to. I figured I'd get back to the hotel so I can find out what's going on with Dean and I's date on Thursday.

"Yeah, I have to get back to. That was Paul, he needs to see me," he said, putting his phone back in his pocket.

"Alright," I said smiling at him.

We gave each other a hug, and we walked back to the hotel. When we walked in, we went our separate ways. I found myself going to Dean's hotel room instead of my own. I lightly knocked, then heard him yell.

"Give me a minute," he said.

When he opened the door, he was standing there with just a towel on, and his hair was soaked. It was obvious that he just got out of the shower.

"Everything okay?" He questioned, snapping me out of staring at his chest.

I had to admit, his body was just amazing.

"Yeah, ummm, I did leave my things in here right?" I said smiling.

"Yep, come on in babe," he said, looking down the hallway, then shut the door behind him.

"You didn't kiss him right?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

I couldn't believe he even asked me that.

"Hell no, I admit we almost did, but these lips," I said touching them. "Did not touch...," I said, but got cut off by him crashing his lips to mine.

After about ten minutes of our tongues fighting for dominance, he pulled away.

"I just wanted to kiss you, I wanted to make sure that his germs we're on them lips," he said, wrapping his arms around me.

"The only time his germs will be on my lips, is when I am forced to kiss him," I replied.

He didn't say anything, just nodded his head.

"Okay then, I'm going to take a shower, then head to Illinois," I informed him.

As he was getting dressed in the bedroom, I went in and got my things for the shower. I found my self taking glances as he was dressing and I have to admit, if I wasn't thinking about getting on the road in the next hour, I may have taken advantage of him. I pushed the dirty thoughts in my mind to the side, and took my shower. I got out, got dressed in simple blue jeans, and a black t shirt, that stopped right above my belly button. To top it off, I wore my black knee high boots. When we both went down to check out, I heard my name being called from behind me. Tyler.

"Hey, can I talk to you a minute? Alone?" He asked, looking at Dean.

"Oh ummm, of course. Go ahead, I have to check out. I'll see you around Star," Dean said, and walked away.

"What's up? I asked Tyler.

"Oh, I was supposed to ride with someone, but they kind of left me here, do you think you can give me a ride to Illinois?" He asked, smiling.

'Yeah, you mean Summer left when she seen us talking.' I thought. I needed to prove to him, I am no one's second choice.

"Oh, I'm not...," I said, but got cut off by Dean coming back.

"Of course she will, I'm sure there is enough room in the back seat. I asked first. Right Star?" Dean said smirking.

What the hell is he doing? He is lucky he's growing on me quickly.

"Yeah, I guess so," I said, and slowly walked to check out.

This car ride should really be interesting.
