Shifting Silver (Book 2)

Disastrous Mess..

Well you could call this a slight disaster. Well maybe a little more than that. As I walked back into the little apartment I had rented almost 3 weeks ago from the incident with my old pack. I set my phone on the bar, turning around to face the fridge. I opened the silver coated refrigerator door, and eyes all the delightful foods I had been putting in here. After searching the crisper, I decided on a chef salad. I grabbed the bag and poured it into a medium sized bowl and doused it with Italian dressing with cheddar cheese. Turned around grabbed my phone and went to sit on the couch. As soon as I sat down my phone buzzed and I glanced over at it. Rolling my eyes, knowing the peaceful life was being shattered now.... Just great.....

"Mmmm, stupid in love... Ohhh.. Stupid in love... Mmmmmmm..."

I walked around my apartment with the music blaring and I singing along. It didn't take long till I heard the knock I was expecting. Oh yay. I glared at the door and cursed under my breath.

"Fuck my life."

I made my way over to the door and opened it. Let him in and closed it, behind him. Watched as he looked around and sniffed the air. I shot him a glare after he turned around.

"Are you kidding me? Me. Seriously no, I haven't had anyone here but me. I assure you of that."

"Just gotta make sure.. I wouldn't want anyone to interrupt."

"Yeah, interrupt what? It's not like there's anything important to say."

I sat down as well as he, he grabbed my hands and put them to his chest and purred. I pulled my hands away from him and growled lowly. I was no Luna I was no pack member. I was a rouge, and that's exactly how I liked it. I liked my normal life. No I wasn't the type of rouge that went around slashing and killing humans and other wolves. I was the calm and collective one that wishes she were a human. So all this bullshit would just go and leave me be. Me and my wolf haven't shifted since that incident at the cafe. Which was over a month ago and I just couldn't shift. I wouldn't allow it, my wolf wanted luke but I couldn't I didn't myself alone didn't want him. I jumped up at growled lowly and started the music again this time with it being a different song.

That actually quite fit this situation. I sang along and looking at Luke with yearning and hate in my eyes. He watched me as I walked around the living room singing and staring directly at him.

"Take away your things and go, you cant take back what you said. I know I've heard it all before at least a million times. I'm not one to forget, you know. I don't believe I don't believe it, you left Peace... Left me in pieces... To hard to breath, I'm on my knees right now, Owww."

He stared at me in awe, watching my every moment and finally when I dropped to the floor and sang the next part he bit his lip and got up. Watching me as he walked towards me.

"IM SO SICK OF THAT SAME OLD LOVE!! That shit it tears me up, I'm so sick of that same old love. My body's had enough, ohhhh, that same old love! Ohhhh, that same old love! IM SO SICK OF THAT SAME OLD LOVE!! FEELS LIKE IVE BLOWN APART! IM SO SICK OF THAT SAME OLD LOVE! THAT KIND THAT BREAKS YOUR HEART!"

By then he had picked me back up and put one of his hands on my lower back and one on my chin. Leaned down and kissed me... But it wasn't a sexual kiss or needy kiss... It was a passionate and yearning kiss... So it made me kiss back and before long we were groping on each other and clothes were flying everywhere and moans escaped from me and grunts from him.

Hours later, I was waken by shifting in the bed. I groaned and opened my droopy eyes to see Luke laying there watching the tv. Which he had to be watching his favorite show... Criminal minds. I chuckled and buried my face into the blankets. He glanced over at me and spoke.

"What? What is wrong with this tv show?"

"Everything... Just everything Luke... Honestly Law In Order, is a better show them this."

I stated and he put his hand up to his chest and made a gapping look, like he had just been scolded or something. I laughed and stared at him, he raised his eyebrows and gave me a playful glare.

"Oh I'll give you something to laugh about missy, just you watch your back!"

"Mmhm remember Luke I am a more skilled wolf then you could ever be, facts is that your a lion. I have more talents and more perks than you."

He stood up, still naked from what happened a few hours ago and slid his boxers on. His groin made me smile and want to play again. He coughed akwardly and slid his pants on.

"I didn't know that you just seeing me, made you want or should I save crave me more. Aweee how cute."

I rolled my eyes and jumped up from the bed, walked over to my dresser and pulled out pink panties with a matching bra. Slid them on and grabbed a white tank top, along with some grey sweats. Walked over to the bed and set them down. Luke was already done dressing and putting his shoes on. After I finished dressing I slid my black vans on and put my hair in a bun. He smiled and kissed me. I blushed and he grabbed my hand, walking out the door I forgot to grab my phone so I hurried back inside and grabbed it. I made my way to Luke's car and got in on the passenger side. He started the car and I relaxed In my seat.

It had taken us around 15 minutes to find a parking space, finally someone pulled out and we parked. Getting out we walked into outbacks steakhouse. I was starving, I hadn't eaten at all today and I just wanted a fresh plate of macaroni and a well done steak. I was quiet and tired, we made our way over to the table were......
