AHHHHH FINALLY A CHAPTER!!!!! I'm listening to dubstepish music while I type this. Just thought you should know.

After the movie we all went to bed. I took a shower and washed my hair. When I got out I saw that Mitch was already asleep. I lay down right next to him and drifted off into nothingness.

I woke up to somebody screaming. I jolted up and turned to see Mitch lying on the bed covered in blood, breathing heavily. He had been stabbed. I screamed as Mitch's eyes started to close. I slapped him across the face trying to get him back into consciousness. I turned as I heard laughing, it was Luke.

"Natalie!" I saw his lips moving, but it wasn't his voice.

"Nat, wake up!" it was Mitch's voice.

I opened my eyes and saw that it was all just a dream.

"Nat are you okay? You were screaming," Mitch asked me, cupping my face with his hands.

"I-I think I h-had a nightmare," I explain, stuttering.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"No t-thanks."

For breakfast Ally had made us pancakes, "Jeez these are really good," I say with a full mouth.

Ally laughed at my lack of manners.

"Hey, Nat is it okay if Preston, Adam and Jerome stay here for a couple weeks?" Mitch asks me, smiling. I looked over to Ally who has an ear-to-ear smile and was shaking her head 'yes.'

"Sure, that's fine by me," I reply, "and I'm sure Ally's okay with that also."

Mitch's phone goes off with a 'ding,' "It's Preston, they're at the airport."

We all get into Mitch's SUV and drive to the airport to pick up Preston, Adam and Jerome.

Once we get there Mitch's phone goes off again, "They're waiting by the entrance."

When I saw Preston, my heart melted. I didn't really believe in love at first sight but you could say that this was it (A/N: LOL THAT WAS SO CHEESY). No Natalie, I got to stop thinking like that. I'm with Mitch not Preston, but now I am kind of wishing I was with Preston.

"Hey guys! I'd like you to meet Nat," Mitch motions to me and then Ally, "and Ally."

We all talk for a bit and then get into the car.

In the car Mitch and I sat in the front, Ally and Preston sat in the next row and Jerome and Adam sat in the third row. I was feeling a little jealousy towards Ally because she was sitting next to Preston. Ugggggh no! Stop it Nat just stop thinking that way. YOU LOVE MITCH NOT PRESTON!

Once we got home Mitch ordered some pizza. He got one large cheese, a large supreme, and a medium pepperoni.

"I'll go pick up the pizza," he yelled across the room, "Be back in twenty minutes!"

After about five minutes Jerome and Adam got bored so they went to record. Ally decided that she was going to go paint her nails so she left too, that meant it was just me and Preston.

I turned on the TV to make the situation less awkward. A couple minutes in Preston did that old move where he yawned and put his arm around me. I grabbed his arm and moved it away from me. He lightly grabbed my chin and tilted my head up so I looked into his eyes. We stayed like that for a bit in an intense stare down until I leaned in closer, and closer, and closer until our lips finally met.

We stayed there just like that for what seemed like forever. I heard a door open in the background and a gasp. Preston and I immediately split apart. Mitch just stared at us, his eyes watering. He threw the pizzas on the floor and ran out of the house. I jumped up from the couch and chased after him but he was already gone. What have I done?

I thought where Mitch would've went. Definitely somewhere with food. Then I remember the bar about a mile away from where Mitch lives. That's where I would check first.

As I drove into the bar's parking lot I saw Mitch's SUV but I also noticed another familiar car, it was Luke's. Oh dear god no. Screams erupt from the bar and I hear glass breaking. (A/N: Just so you're prepared, there will be swearing in this part of the book.)

"Get off of me you asshole!" I hear someone yell, it was Mitch.

I burst into the bar and see Luke holding a gun up to Mitch's head.

"No! Stop!" I shriek as loud as I can.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the little bitch Natalie," Luke says cocking his head to the side.

"Why are you doing this, Luke?"

"Because I thought you still loved me!" he yelled at me.

I fell down to my knees and put my head in my hands, sobbing. Then I heard gunshots, and screaming. I felt a sharp pain in my chest and the world around me went blank.

I slowly started to open my eyes. I was in a bright white room, surrounded by strangers. All at once it came back to me; Preston and I, Mitch, the bar, Luke, gunshots. He must've shot me.

"Natalie, you're awake!" I heard Preston say.

I smiled and opened my eyes even more, "Hey Preston," I croaked out. My voice was really hoarse.

I looked around the room and saw that Mitch wasn't here.

"Where's Mitch?" I asked.

"Luke had shot both of you," Ally replied as she entered the room, "Mitch was in worse condition than you, he might not make it."

I felt tears stinging my eyes. Was I really going to lose Mitch? This was entirely my fault; if I hadn't kissed Preston then we wouldn't be here.

"Can I talk to Nat alone please Ally?" Preston asked. I knew what he wanted to talk about which made me cry even more.

Ally left the room and Preston sat on the side of my bed. He held my hand and started to rub circles on the back of it.

"It's going to be okay," he said quietly, "I'm so sorry Natalie, it's all my fault."

"No no no, this isn't your fault at all," I told him reassuringly.

"I knew you and Mitch were together and I should've respected that," he said as his eyes started to tear up.

I sat up and pain shot through me but I ignored it, I wrapped my arms around Preston and hugged him tightly. He hugged back and we both just sat there hugging and crying into each other's arms for a while until a policeman entered the room.

"Excuse me," he said clearing his throat, "Are you Natalie Hanson?"

"Yes," I replied quietly.

"Luke Anderson, the man who shot you and one other man is now in custody," he cleared his throat once more and continued, "When the doctors say you can leave here I would appreciate it if you stopped by the police so we can get things sorted out."

"Um, yes sir I could do that," I answered, smiling weakly.

He just nodded his head and exited the room.

I stayed at the hospital for another week and finally I was able to go. Mitch was doing well and slowly making a recovery. He was going to live. I remembered that I had to go to the police station now. I didn't want to confront Luke alone so I brought Preston with me.

As soon as I entered the room where Luke was he sat up from his chair and tried to punch me but I slapped him across the face before he could.

"Bitch..." I heard him whisper to himself.

"Thank you for stopping by ma'am," the officer said politely, "Do you mind if we ask you some questions?"

We talked for a few hours answering questions and when it was all over the officer thanked me for coming and gave me a piece of paper with the first court date. October 20th. Holy crap, I've been here for a month and it's almost Halloween.

With Mitch still being in the hospital Preston and I have gotten a chance to get closer and not in a lovey dovey kind of way, in a best friend way. I've also gotten pretty close with Jerome and Adam.

Finally after a couple weeks Mitch was released and everything had gone back to normal. Well, kind of. Both of us still had scars to remind us of that horrible day.

"Hey, Mitch," I started, "I'm really sorry for cheating on you with Preston, I shouldn't have done that."

"It's okay baby gurl," he replied smiling weakly, "I'll still love you forever and always."

"Forever and always?" I giggled slightly at his cheesy remark.

Me, Mitch, Ally, Preston, Jerome, and Adam spent the night watching movies. I really did feel bad about what I did but in the back of my mind there still was that thought, Did I love Preston?
