Louis' POV

"Babe I'm home" I call out as I close the door and throw the keys on the counter.

I'm finally home from work.

I need to start listening to Maddie, I need a new job. Better than the bartender shit I'm doing for crappy pay. I deserve a raise for all the shit I have to deal with at the bar. The douchebag drunks and the women crying about being lonely.

Just two nights ago, one of my friends was almost drugged by some asshole who put something in her drink. I kicked his ass for trying to pull a fast one, I warned him if I saw his face again I would be not as gentle as I was. There wouldn't be a next time anyways, I kept that asshole's ID and gave it to Liam the next day, since he works in the police force, because by the looks of the bastard, Liam would most likely find dirty on that fucker and put him away.

But the only bright side to this shitty job is that I met Maddie. I have never felt anything like that for anyone before. I'm truly in love with this wonderful girl.

When I enter the bedroom I find a sleeping Maddie with the television on. She must of fallen asleep waiting for me. I pick the remote to turn off the tv and she begins to stir in her sleep. She amazes me how she can feel when someone shut that thing off. I've told her countless times that it's no good for her to sleep with it on, she doesn't rest mind right when it's on.

"Louis?" she softly says

"Yes love, I'm home" I assure her

"Hmm, good" she yawns

"Babe go back to sleep" I cover her with our bed blankets

"Nah, I have to pee" she stretches then heads to the toilet

"Alright love" I chuckle

I strip down to just my boxer, as I throw my clothes into the basket of dirty laundry, I feel a pair arms hugging me from behind

"I missed you" I can feel her laying her cheek on back

"I missed you too" I turn to face her

I kiss her forehead " Lets go to bed baby" she pulls me

"Tomorrow is the big day" I tell her as I wrap my arm around her waist.

"Don't remind me. I hate that my parents like to celebrate my birthday in such big way. I'm only turning 23" she groans

"It's going to be okay love, it'll just be a few hours" I assure her.

"It'll be the first time you're meeting them" she reminds me.

"Hmm I know, don't worry babe it's  going to be fine" I drift off.

I sure hope it goes well, I'm kind of nervous to meet them.

Meeting the parents is a big step for the couple. When it comes to meeting parents you need to expect the unexpected.

I hope you guys liked the chapter. I'm sorry that I haven't updated in over a year. It's been pretty hectic for me, imma be a college student very soon, yayyy! Yeah wish me luck. I'll try to update as often as i can. i really hope you'll bare with me. I promise the fic will only get better.
