"1.. 2.. 3... 4.." A voice spoke in a dimly lit room, as they tore off the heads of dead roses. "5..6..7..8.." They continued to count as the wilted flowers elegantly fell to the ground, their petals red as blood.

Lucana sat alone. It was around midnight, she couldn't get herself to sleep.
She looked around in anger. She couldn't stand the people around her, mostly because they all had something she didn't. And she was jealous of all of them. Deep in thought, she looked into the deep red color of the half-empty wine glass on the table. Her reflection in the glass was distorted, but her dark eyes peirced through. A flash of anger flowed through her as she hit the glass, spilling the wine and breaking the glass. She breathed heavy. She left the room, the wine dripping off of the table. But it all was soon consumed in the night's darkness. The next morning, Lariat went downstairs to discover the same glass of wine, still broken. A tired Percival walked down the stairs, his hair looking more unkempt than usual. He sighed. "Morning.." He said, not making eye contact with Lariat and walking into the kitchen. Lucana walked downstairs after him. She looked at the vase of roses. 8 of the twelve wilted.
"The flowers.." She said. "They need water. Someone water them."
No one replied to her request, so she refilled the vase herself. She removed the dead flowers.
"There is only four left.." She said quietly, and walked out onto the front deck.
Viviette tiredly made her way downstairs. "What time... Is it?" She asked.
"Too early." Percival answered. "Way too early."
Percival then went into the bathroom to try to fix his ungodly hair.London walked down the stairs, pulling up the sleeves of his shirt. "Good morning everyone.." He said, then began to tie his long hair into a ponytail.
Gilbert walked down the stairs behind him, giving him a friendly slap on the back. "Mornin'" he said with a smile.
Percival walked out of the bathroom, looking at the others. He then went out and sat with Lucana.
"What's he doing with a woman? He can't talk to girls! Hah!" London exclaimed, grinning.
"Leave the kid alone." Lariat spoke up. "Maybe he's learned."
"Oh please, he's hopeless. Completely and utterly hopeless." London replied. "Don't make me laugh.. It's too early for that." He sat down on the couch next to Viviette.
"Why do you look so tired?" Lariat asked London.
"Uh, I just got up? And it's early? That's why." He replied. "Why are you so testy?"
Lariat sighed. "I was just curious."
"Alright." He said, going into the kitchen.Outside, Percival looked at Lucana. "So.."
She looked at him, hearing his voice. "So." She said in a monotone voice, dropping a dead rose on the ground.
