The Chosen Prophesy

Chapter 2 In the Village

So I got into the carriage and we drove off to the village. As I was looking out my window I saw a cute boy helping a poor old women, it was so nice of him to do that. He saw me too, as I looked at him he smiled and I smiled back. Oh how I love the village with all the nice shops and restaurants. It's very nice and calm and lots of friendly people live here. As I look out the window I always see many people look at me and wave but I don't want to be praised by all of these people. Then the carriage stops and I'm at my Mr. Tennors house, my tutor.

As I get off the carriage he says "Good afternoon Esmeralda, how are you today."
I respond "I'm doing well, thank you."
"Well then," said Mr. Tennor "you should be good enough to start getting A's correct?"
"Yes, I'm good enough to get A's." I said with a sigh.

As I walked inside like always there would be tea on the table and I would sit at my usual spot at the table and I would learn the most boring things ever like history, mathematics, literature, and language arts. I just wish I could go to a regular school with lots of kids and friends. It would be so much more fun than just have a tutor.

An few hours had passed and tutoring was finally over. I told the coach men to wait around the market area as I look around to see anything I like. The only reason why I wanted to do that is so I could find the boy that smiled at me. So as I was walking I saw a jewelry store and stopped in there to look at these beautiful rainbow moon stone neckalces I think they were called.

While I was in the store I saw the boy right next to me and he said "These are pretty gems aren't they."
"Yeah they are, I was thinking of buying one, they really caught my eye." I said back
"Well would you like me to buy it for you?" He replied
I said back, "No, no please I have enough money already to purchase literally anything I want."
"Oh ok, but it would be my pleasure to do it for the princess." He responded
"Well, if you wish, you may." I said "What's your name?"
"My name is James." The boy replied.
"That's a nice name." I said back
"And yours might be," and just as I was about to says it he said "Oh I'm just kidding I know what your name is, your name is Esmeralda."
"Yup, you got that right." I said
Then it was silent for awhile and I picked out the perfect necklace that I wanted and he payed for it. It's so nice of him to do that even though I could have payed for it myself.

So as we walked out of the store I asked him "Where are you from, do you live in this village or do you live in another kingdom?"
"I live in another kingdom, I'm just visiting my aunt and uncle." 
Then I said "Well, should be heading home now for lunch."
Then James said "Would you like to have lunch with me?"
I said back "Yes, that would be nice but I told my coachman I would be in awhile and awhile means now."
"Well, where are they just tell them to go back to your castle and come back in an hour." James said
"I guess I can do that, I'll be right back." Then I went to go find my coachman and go to lunch with James.

As I came back I saw James at the nicest, most cutest little restaurant ever. He was already at the table waiting for me. Then he said "This is my aunts restaurant, an Italian restaurant."
I replied "oh, I love Italian food!"
"I ordered us pasta with meatballs, is that ok?" He asked
"Yeah that totally fine as long as I don't get sauce on my dress." I said
"Well you are a princess so wouldn't you know how to not get it on you?" James said
"Well, I'm not the kind of princess you may expect me to be." I replied
"Hey, not everyone's perfect." He said back
"True, but since I'm a princess everyone expects me to be perfect and they put so much pressure on me and I just can't do it!" I said
Then he said "Well, when you are queen you won't have that much pressure would you?"
"Would I, of course I would I will be ruling this whole kingdom!" I said angrily
"Well, sorry to bring that up Esmeralda." James said
"It's fine James and our food is here so let's eat, with out getting it on our clothes."

So the rest of the day went pretty well for me. And I guess for James too. Doesn't anyone else in his family think he is cute? Does he think I like him? Does he like me? I have so many questions to be answered. The one thing I'm most excited about is my 16th birthday it's finally her and its tomorrow, yay! I can't wait to see all of my cousins, family and childhood friends!
