I woke up this morning so excited because... IT'S MY 16TH BIRTHDAY!! I can't wait to see everyone at the ball and hopefully make some friends because only in my 16th birthday we have a ball and for my coronation and for my wedding (when I have one) and for my 18th birthday and when I'm queen I can have a ball whenever I want. But I'm just so excited I'm literally jumping up and down and screaming. Also today I get to do whatever I want at whatever time I want a today I'm going back to the village to see James. We were going to take a small stroll and he said he would have a special treat planned for me tomorrow which is today. I wonder what it is.
"Finally in the village." I said to myself then my coachman asked "Where are we heading to again Princess Esmeralda?"
"Um, 10th street at the bakery." I said
"Alright, we should be there shortly." He said back
Then I said "And also there is no need to call me princess Esmeralda you can just call me Esmeralda."
He replied "Well it's your parents orders to call you that, but I guess I could when your parents aren't around."
"Yes, I would like that very much." I said to him.
Then we arrived in was a cute little bakery and I saw James wave and me I waved back. As I stepped off he told me to close my eyes and he would guide me, so I did when I walked inside he said "SURPRISE! Happy birthday!"
"Wow, thanks how'd you know?!" I said
"My aunt told me it was your birthday so I asked her to make you a cake." James said
"Well I love it, thanks so much." Then I hugged him.
Then I thought to myself "Is he going to my ball, should I ask him, should I not, should I wait and see, nah I won't ask him." The cake was small but so delicious, I should definitely get more food from here. Later on that day since it was my birthday James bought me whatever I wanted but, I kept on saying it's my birthday and I can afford it but he would say it's your birthday and I'm treating you with me buying you these things.
It was really fun being with him but then I told him I had to get ready for the for my family birthday party and I lied because I thought he wasn't invited to the ball, so my carriage picked me up and I went back to my castle to get ready for the ball.
