Ariana's POV

I stood on the balcony of the guest room, reminiscing about last night. I haven't known Zayn that long but there was something about the way he touched me, the way he kissed me, it was electrifying. I could still feel the adrenaline rushing through my body. I let the breeze low through my hair and sighed. I was so caught up in my own thoughts I hadn't realised that Zayn was standing beside me, admiring the same view as me.

"Goregeous isn't it." He said looking out.

"Mhm" I nodded.

I looked beside me to see Zayn's topless inked skin. His arms were toned, I glanced at the side of his face. His features were chisled. He was absolutely flawless. His hair was perfectly gelled in his signature quiff. He whipped a cigarette from behind his ear and lit it.

"Want one?" He asked me, reaching into his pocket to pull out the white and red 'Marlboro' packet.

"Uh, no thanks."

I watched him inhale and exhale the smoke. He tapped the cigarette butt and the ash fell over the balcony edge. When he was finished he threw the end off the balcony. He was making his way back inside, he turned to me.

"I've got to take you to Niall's for a few days because I have business to attend tonight and I can't leave you alone."

"You can just take me back to my dorm then." I was a little hurt he had gone back on his word but I sort of knew he would.

"Okay then. Be ready by 4 and I'll take you back." He walked out of the room.

Zayn's POV

I went into my room and checked my phone.

7 new messages. Niall and Louis. I placed my phone down on the table. It made a loud buzzing noise as soon as I walked away. Louis was ringing me.

"Zayn! Finally man. Where have you been?" Louis practically shouted down the phone.

"Busy. What did you want?" I asked.

"What's going on about tonight mate?"

"I'll be there."

"You bringing that fit girl from the party?" He asked me. The way he spoke about her like a piece of meat sickened me.

"That fit girl has a name. And no." I didn't bother to tell him. He didn't deserve to know.

"You are getting protective over this one! Watch out!" he tried to joke. I didn't laugh, Every time he tried to make it a lighter subject to talk about but I couldn't handle it. A year was not enough time to start making jokes about her.

"Louis. Don't" He could tell I wasn't taking any of his bullshit about Jen.

"I understand. I'm just warning you." He didn't understand. It had never happened to him. They all say they understand but they never do.

"Well keep you're bloody warning to yourself." I hung up. I began to tear up just thinking of her. I got off the bed and made my way downstairs. I unlocked the door under the stairs and went down. I sighed. I looked around studying the underground gym where I used to to all my training when I didn't have an upcoming tournament or fight.

I picked up my red boxing gloves and threw a few punches at the bag. I used to have a passion for boxing. The more I thought about Jen, the more tearful I got. I punched the bag as the tears streamed down my cheeks. I threw off the gloves and tossed them to the side. I dried my face with the back of my hand. I went straight into the dressing room. The bed was made up perfectly just as she'd left it. I remember this used to be our spot. No-one else knew about it. Thinking of our spot made me smile. It was something unique to just her and I. Our little secret. Not really a secret but that's how it felt.
