We pulled up to a massive apartment. It was gated up and had about 4-5 cars parked in the drive. They were all the same make and colour but different license plates.
Zayn typed in a code and the gate opened. He parked and he got out.
"You coming inside?" He asked.
"You basically kidnapped me, and now I have a say?" Hoping the attitude present in my voice made my answer clear.
"Is that a yes or no?" He held out his hand for me to take and helped me put the car. Now he wants to play the gentleman.
The apartment was amazing. How could someone like him, get something like this? My own prejudice surprised me.
"You can sit down, you know." Pointing to the black leather seat.
"You want a drink?" He asked me.
"Whatcha got?" He browsed the fridge.
"Beer, vodka, lemonade, wine, orange juice and water."
"Um... I'll have a glass of water please."
I was still in awe at his beautiful home. He came and sat beside me, he handed me my glass of water.
"Where are you from?" I asked him.
"Bradford. Just guessing by your accent, American?"
"Yeah." Just as we were getting into conversation, someone unlocked the front door.
They didn't acknowledge my presence and walked straight past us.
"Who are they?" I whispered.
"My mates. They live here aswell." He was playing along with whispering.
I checked the time. 10:25. Where has the evening gone?
"I don't mean to be rude, but could you please drive me back now? It's pretty late and I have work tomorrow."
"Yeah." His voice seemed saddened. Was he enjoying my company?
When we got back to my campus, he parked and walked me back to my dorm.
"Thank you for driving me back." I have him a small smile.
"Bye, Ariana." He winked and walked away.
I let myself in the dorm, and flopped right on the bed.
I went to get dressed for bed. There was a note from Valerie on the bedside table.
'My parents came to get me. Going on an early holiday. I'll be back in a week. Love you Val. xx'
