Giona's POV

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then went downstairs to it being abnormally quiet. I walked in the kitchen and saw a note taped to the fridge from Bryson.

Good Morning,

I took Riyah and Sunshine out for the day. I didn't wanna wake you since me and Ant kept you up so late. Gio never came home last night, so maybe he'll come later on today. Oh yeah, a friend of mine is coming to get you at 10:15, be dressed and be nice to em.
Love yah GiGi.

I looked at the clock on the microwave and saw that it was exactly 10 o'clock on the dot. I really don't feel like going out today. Bryson always making plans for me. I sighed at the fact that I only have fifteen... now fourteen minutes to get ready. I ran upstairs to my bathroom and showered quickly. I dried my body off and put on underwear. I lotioned my body and searched my walk in closet for something to wear. I settled on a red denim skirt and a crop top. I put on a pair of my ones and went to do my hair. I brushed my hair out and wand curled it loosely. I put on lipstick, earrings, my gold MK watch, and real gold chain. I grabbed my red and gold MK purse and put my things in it from my other purse. By the time I finished there was a knock at the door. I grabbed my purse and phone then headed downstairs. When I opened the door I closed it immediately. Why the hell is he here? He knocked again and I ignored it calling Bryson.

"What GiGi?" Bryson asked answering on the third ring.

"You're always up to something. Why is he here?" I asked with a full blown attitude.

"Come on Giona, open the door." Anthony said from the other side of the door.

"GiGi, he's already there. Just go with him and stop being stubborn. Remember I'm buying you that phone." Bryson said ending the call.

I sighed and opened the door. Can't believe he's pimping me out. He smiled when he saw me and told me I looked beautiful, but I ignored him and locked up the house. I followed him to his Challenger. He opened the door for me. I climbed in and slammed the door. He shook his head and went to the driver's side and got in. We both put on our seatbelts and he pulled off.

"Sorry for keeping you up last night." He said trying to start a conversation.

"Whatever." I mumbled.

"Tell me something about yourself." He said ignoring me.

"You know my name that's all you need to know." I said rolling my eyes.

"Guess I'll start. My name is Anthony Howard, but people call me Ant. I'm 22, my birthday was last month, July 15th. I love basketball. I'm a momma's boy. My dad died when I was twelve. I'm the only child. Uh, let's see what else... my blood type is---" He stopped noticing I was on my phone texting and not paying attention.

"Aye yo you rude as fuck. I was talking to you put yo damn phone up." He snapped.

"I didn't care about what you were talking about." I said shrugging.

He pulled the car over and unlocked the doors.

"I'm respecting you, so fucking respect me. I ain't did shit to yo spoiled stuck up ass, and you being rude for what? I chose to be here but you know what fuck this get the fuck out." He said unbuckling my seatbelt and reaching over opening my door.

I looked in his eyes and shook my head in disbelief.

"You can't be serious."

"Wanna see how serious I am?" He said glaring at me.

"I don't know where we are." I said stepping out the car and closing the door.

"Now's the time to use yo phone. Use yo GPS." He said pulling off.

I watched his car speed down the rode. I looked at the sky and felt a drop of water then it began to pour. To make matters worse no one would answer their phones. I walked in the direction we came from, but the harsh rain made my vision blurr. I heard a car pull up and my heart beat quickened at who could be in the car. Please don't kidnap me. I quickened my pace as I heard foot steps.

"Giona." A familiar voice called.

"Go away Anthony." I shouted.

"It's raining let me take you home." He said stopping in front of me.

"No you asshole. I'll walk home." I said crying. I'm glad the rain is camouflaging my tears.

"You're going to get sick." He said picking me up bridal style. I punched him in his chest repeatedly, but my hits didn't phase him.

"Let me walk home. You didn't care if I was going to get sick when you left me here. I'm telling my brother." I said reaching for my phone.

"He knows. He thinks it's hilarious." He said placing me in the passenger seat.

He buckled my seatbelt and closed the door. He jogged around to the drivers side and got in. He buckled his seatbelt and turned on the heat. He looked at me staring into my eyes. He cupped my cheek and examined my face.

"I made you cry?" He asked concern filling his voice.

I didn't say anything. I just looked at him. A tear rolled down my cheek and he wiped it away with his thumb.

"Giona, I apologize. I was an asshole. I let my anger get the best of me, and I apologize for that." He said his warm minty breath hitting my face.

"No, I apologize. You only reacted to me acting like a bitch towards you." I said staring into his eyes that I now realize are a hazel/gray color.

"We straight?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'm gone go home and change then I'll take you home, okay?" He asked. I nodded taking him in. He actually is cute. I watched as he drove and licked his bottom lip slowly revealing his tongue ring.

"You biracial?" I asked wondering how a dude could be made so perfect.

"Yeah. My mom is mixed with French and Puerto Rican, and my dad's black."

"Do you know Spanish?"

"Yeah, and a little french. What about you do you know another language ?"

"I wish. Say something in Spanish for me."

"No sé qué tienes contigo, pero puedo vernos siendo algo." He said with an obvious accent rolling every r perfectly.

"What does that mean?"

"You're the meanest woman I've ever met, but I like it."

"What does it really mean?"

He laughed as we pulled up to some condos downtown. He looked at me and winked making me laugh. He got out and opened my door. I climbed out and closed the door. He used the remote to lock the doors. We walked inside and got on the elevator and rode to the top floor. We got off and he took off his shoes.

"Take your shoes off I have OCD." He said turning the key to keep the elevator from coming on this floor.

His condo was the whole floor, and it was well designed and clean. He took off his shirt and walked around the corner. He came back with boxers and a T-shirt.

"The bathroom is right there." He said pointing to my left.

I looked at his torso counting his perfectly toned abs. This boy is wow.
"Giona, you straight?" He asked with a smirk. Dammit he caught me staring. I took the clothes from him and went to the bathroom to change. I came out five minutes later to find that he had changed into sweats and a v-neck. He held his hands out for my clothes. I placed them in his hands and he took them to the laundry room. I sat on the couch and observed the living room. He walked in and sat next to me.

"Are you hungry?" He asked me making eye contact.

"Yes, are you paying?" I asked overenthusiastic.

"I'll always pay when you're with me."

"I want pasta... Shrimp Alfredo and garlic bread."

He nodded and called in our orders. Maybe he can be my distraction.
