A/N- I'm so sorry it took me so long to update this story. I'm gonna try to update it at least every other day now. thank you guys for being patient and i hope you enjoy the story.
Cade started to stir. He sat up and realized the chaos that occurred after he was put out of the fight. He looked to the left and saw Destiny. She looked almost lifeless next to him. In a panic he scrambled through his bag and pulled out a cross shaped charm of some sort and placed it on her forehead. It glowed a bright pink color as it dissolved. Cade was relieved to see the color begin to fill up her face again. While destiny rested, Cade got up to see if there were survivors. He was disgusted by the amount of deaths he was seeing. He looked near the guild hall and saw that seven of their own were dead in a pile. He finally reached Madison, who seemed to be in pretty bad shape. she seemed to have been hit by a large object of sorts directly in the sternum. " I swear if you didn't have that magic of yours you'd be dead by now. Now get up and quit being a drama queen." As soon as he finished his sentence she started rustling.
" You try getting hit by a freaking tank. It's not the easiest thing to just brush off. Now.. are you and Destiny OK?" " Yes we are fine though I feel very not like myself for lack of a better term." Once the two of them got used to the soreness of their bodies from the fight they went over to Destiny. She was sitting up and tending to her wounds. She had a really nasty scrape on her legs like she was in a whirlwind of razor blades with dull tips.She seemed to be doing ok. "by the way...does anyone know who those people were?" said Madison. In the distance a familiar voice began to speak. "Those were the society of meisters. They sent one of there members to sabotage us before the magic games. They don't like the idea of them not being allowed in the magic games." They then saw the figure to be Master Erza. "Why aren't they allowed to be in the magic games?" said Destiny. Before Erza could speak Cade cut her off. " They are a society that doesn't use magic. They are a group that put their members into pairs of meisters and weapons. The weapons are able to transform between a weapon of sorts into to a human and vice versa. The meisters are people who have a great bond with their partner. If this bond is strong enough, the meister can wield the weapon and perform powerful attacks. I wish i could have seen it happen. Too bad Madison was the only one to see it." Cade then felt a sharp pain in his side as he then flew into the nearest building with great force as Madison kicked him. "All i got to see was a artillery shell to the face thank you very much." Erza decided to butt in and put them back on track. "I know all of this must be confusing but we really need to get going. thew magic games start in about two days and i don't think we wanna wait and try Cade's portal charms again now do we?" A sudden chill fell across the group all except for cade. "It's only happened twice. Plus...I only missed our mark by two continents the last time." Everyone then mutually agreed to begin their travels.
