"Vince? Vincent baby?" I asked as I rubbed his forehead.

His eyes opened slightly.

I leaned down and kissed his neck as I rubbed his stomach.

"I-I love y-y-you" He said below a whisper.

A tear ran down my cheek, as I continued to rub his stomach.

"I love you too hunny" I said as I rubbed his stomach again.

My visit with Vincent was cut short when I realized the time. It was back to work for me.

I finished doing my clients hair as I looked at the clock. Almost closing time.

I took the broom and began sweeping my station. I put all my things back and grabbed my stuff.

I was about to head out the door when I was stopped.

"You forget?" Julian asked as he closed the door.

"Oh shit!" I said smacking my forehead .

"Hey, its never too late" he said shrugging his shoulders.

I smiled lightly and agreed.

We walked towards his car and he opened the passenger seat.

"Thank you" I said as I smiled and sat in.

We were on our way to dinner when I got a call.

I went into my purse as I grabbed my iphone.

"Hello?" I asked as I put the phone close to my ear.

"Is this Kennedy Brooks?" An unfamiliar voice asked.

"Y-yes, whose asking?"

"Hello Ms.Brooks, Unfortunately a patient at Sinta Hospital by the name of Vincent Williams has passed away."

My heart began beating faster and my phone slipped out of my hands.

I started feeling the tears take over my eyes and my face turn red.

"NOOOO NOOOOO!" I cried as I held onto my stomach.

"Vince? Vincent baby?" I asked as I rubbed his forehead.
