HEY, WHY AM I STILL ON HERE!? IT'S LITERALLY 6:56am!

Papyrus laid his unconscious brother down on the lumpy, torn sofa. God damn, what a day.

With an exhausted sigh, he retreated to the kitchen. Did they even have food today, he wondered as he checked the fridge. No leftovers; but there was a box, about a quarter (if that) of uncooked noodles and some salt to make pasta with. He placed his face in his palm, making a mental note to go get more food later.

He grabbed the ingredients and a pot to get started. Turning on the stove, he went to fill the pot with water but noticed that the sink wasn't running. Oh yeah, he only had enough to pay for electricity this week. He sat the pot on the burner, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and pouring it in, soon following suit with the noodles and salt.

Ugh, such a shame too, that was their last box...

"P-Pap?" Sans mumbled under his breath before slowly waking up. He rubbed his socket as he surveyed the house. He was... home? But how? When? He was-

"I see you're awake now." A voice spoke, gruff as usual.
"B-Boss...?"

Papyrus remained stern, walking over to the other, startling him. Oh god, he was gonna get yelled at again, wasn't he?

"I'm going to heal you now."
Sans opened his sockets, confused, "... W-What?"
Papyrus tsked at his brothers lack of comprehension, his magic raring up as he began to heal him.

Sans watched as his brother healed his wounds. Oh yeah, that was right. He had been attacked and couldn't get away, so he- He called for Papyrus- and- it worked!? Boss actually came for him and saved him?

He sunk into his turtleneck, hiding his happiness and shock.

"SANS!"
"H-Huh?" Sans jumped at Papyrus yelling.
"You're really tense... You need to relax or I can't properly heal you!" He stated with clear aggravation, obviously from him not listening, as usual.
"O-Oh... um, sorry B-Boss."

Sans took a deep breath, relaxing the best he could. It wasn't exactly easy to relax after such a day in this god forsaken hell.

"I-..." Papyrus spoke but cut his word.
Sans turned to the direction of the sound and tilted his head, "Hm...?"

"... I'm- ..." He inhaled, trying to find his words, "I'll let you go to Grillbys' tonight... but not because of today! I just don't feel like cooking anything tonight!" Papyrus blurted, feeling a bit of his pride shatter.

Sans stared as he began to comprehend. A feeling of cheer hit his soul as he replied with, "Okay."
Boss was being nice, for once. He had never given Sans permission to go anywhere, especially Grillbys' and he was even cooking them lunch.

What a day, He thought happily.

"Don't think that just because of what happened today I'm gonna treat you like a little prince. You are still pathetic and you really need to be taught a lesson, but I don't feel like re-healing you when I'd get done. So this will be a warning." He zapped the other with a little shock.
