Chapter 5

"TITA, PASALUBONG KO PO HA?" Vince called her before she could enter her car.

She smiled at him and ruffled his hair. "Sure kiddo. Basta ba good boy ka with your Tita Mich." bilin niya dito. Wala kasi ang kapatid niya at ang asawa nito. Siya naman ay luluwas ng Maynila para mameet ang kliyente niya.

"I'm a good boy, Tita."

Tinanguan niya ito at nginitian bago tuluyang pumasok sa kanyang sasakyan. She lowered her window and turned to her friend. "Mitch, ikaw na muna ang bahala sa pamangkin ko ha? Uuwi din ako kaagad pagkatapos ng signing."

Mitch gave her a smile, "Don't worry, I'll take care of him. Ingat ka sa biyahe."

She gave her friend a salute then she drove away. Kahapon lang kasi ay may natanggap siyang offer para sa isang car racing. Hindi lang din kasi ang talyer ang pinagkakaabalahan niya kundi pati narin sa mga car racing. She is known in the world of racing as Gielean Sanchez, "the beginners Mechaninc Princess". Maraming kumukuha sa kanya kahit hindi mga bago sa racing pero ang mga baguhan lang talaga ang tinatanggap niya para matulungan. She wanted to help the new ones and make a name on their own. Hindi sa pagmamalaki pero magaling talaga siyang mekanika.
Ngayon, luluwas siya ng Maynila para sa kanyang client. Kailangan niya ng malaking pera pambayad kay Nicka.

She glanced at the card she was holding. Iyon ang business card na ibinigay sa kanya ng isang lalaki. A.J. Montefalcon. Iyan ang nakasulat sa card. She's pretty sure na hindi siya niloloko para dito. She's heard of the name Montefalcon and they are known in the market for having luxurious cars. They manufacture best quality of cr parts. Hindi niya nga lang kilala ang may-ari, pero sigurado siya na kilala ang naturang kompanya dahil palagi niya itong naririnig at nababasa sa mga magazine.

Halos tatlong oras din ang biyahe niya mula Calle Maganda. She turned right and found the huge encryption 'Montefalcon' on the huge gate. Huminto siya sa tapat ng gate house at binati ang security.
"Hi! I'm Reggie Leandra Sanchez. I'm here to meet A.J. Montefalcon."

Tinanguan siya ng guard, "Sandali lang po, Ma'am. Titingnan ko lang po ang guest list." Saad nito at may kinalikot sa computer. She took the time to look at what's beyond the gate. Malawak ang area sa loob at hindi maipagkakailang mayayaman.
Tumikhim ang guard kaya napatingin siya ulit dito. "Sorry po pero walang Reggie Leandra Sanchez dito sa listahan. Antayin niyo lang po muna at i-coconfirm ko lang po sa main house."

She gave him a nod although confused as to why she's not on the list. Saglit siyang napaisip. "Ahy teka po, kuya. Paki try po kung may Gielean Sanchez sa listahan?"

Tumalima naman ito at tiningnan ang monitor. He then nodded, "May I.D. po kayo?"

Kinuha niya ang ID at ipinakita dito. Tiningnan siya nito saka may pinindot at automatic na bumukas ang gate. "Pasok na po kayo. Diretso lang po kayo sa main house, iyon po ang pinakamalaking bahay sa loob."

"Alright. Thank you!" She gave him a curt nod before driving in. Just as she guessed, malawak nga ang lupain sa loob. May limang nakatayo na bahay sa lupain plus the main house. Or should I say, mansion?
She just parked her car in front of the mansion and fixed herself. Sinipat niya muna ang sarili bago lumabas. She was wearing a white long sleeve loose buttoned top with a black ribbon paired with a cardigan shorts and black pumps. She still looked formal though.

"Good morning, Miss Sanchez. I'm glad you had some time to meet with us." The guy who came to her yesterday welcomed her. "Come in. We are preparing for lunch. My boss will meet you in a few minutes. He has appointments to meet yet."

She followed the man inside and was overwhelmed with the house's interior. Magarang magara. It's mostly gold to golden brown from the big luxurious sofas, the huge carpet, the chandelier and other furnitures inside the mansion. The huge portrait caught her attention. It was a couple and a family picture as well. The rest of the small frames she bet were part of the family as well. She stared at the little boy on the portrait. He looks familiar.
