Chapter 6 (Sherry x Jake)

They finally made it to the town before it got to dark. Jake and Sherry is still holding hands when they reach the town. Everybody in the group is tired and they need a place to stay at.

"We need to be quite" Leon said.

"We can sleep in that hotel" Helena say and point at the hotel.

Sherry look at Jake as she let go of his hand and walk a little closer to the building with Helena.

"I'm gonna ask Sherry to marry me" Jake whispers to Chris, Piers and Leon.

"What? Are you sure about it? I mean you guys are cute together but you have only known her in some months" Chris say to Jake.

"I'm sure. I love that woman so much and I can't think a life without her. She is my heart now, Chris" Jake say to Chris.

Chris smile at Jake and hug him.

"I'm happy for you guys" Leon said and hug Jake after Chris.

"Me too" Piers say and hug Jake aswell.

As they all turn around to check on Sherry and Helena, they notice that they're gone. They all grabs in panic as Piers shout Helena's name.
Jake run into the hotel as fast he can with the others behind him.

"Sherry?!" Jake shout as he check every floor in the hotel.

Piers and Chris looks for Helena as Leon follows Jake. Jake and Leon finally reach the rooftop, they catch their breathe.

Jake falls down to the ground with tears runnin' down his cheeks. He cover his face with his palms when Leon comes over to him.

"This isn't over, Jake! We'll find them" Leon said to Jake.

Piers and Chris join the on the roof. Piers collapse to the ground with tears in his eyes.

"Where are they?" Piers say quite.

"We need to look through the town-" Chris said.

"Or we can find them through their phones, gps" Leon said and hold up his phone.

Jake take out his phone and look at some pictures of him and Sherry. One photo is of them laying on the bed. That photo was taken earlier this day. He could still remember how happy she looked when he kissed her.

Another photo is Sherry, when she is sleeping on his bed back at that weird white hospital. Sherry didn't notice he took it.

Then he call Sherry, putting his phone to his right ear, praying that she would pick up.
1...2...3...4...

"Hello?" said a strange voice.

"Who is this?!!" Jake scream.

Chris, Piers and Leon look at Jake as he scream into the phone.

"Ah, you must be looking for this blonde I have here" the man said with an ugly voice.

"JAKE!" Sherry screams in the background.

"SHERRY!" Jake scream.

Jake could then hear the man hit Sherry. Hard on the cheek because Sherry was trying to hit him. He could also hear Helena.

"HELENA?!" Jake screams.

Piers run over to Jake and take the phone.

"Helena I'm coming for you!" Piers scream before letting Jake take it.

"Haha, you think you can find me? No way! Stay away or I'll kill these two!" The man say.

"If you touch her, I'll kill you!" Jake scream.

"Haha good luck, soilder" the man said before he put on.

Jake swear as he lay his phone in his back pocket.

"Damn it!" Jake said.

"Fucking great" Chris said.

"Piers, call Helena. See if we can get contact with her" Jake said to Piers.

Piers grabs his phone and call Helena. Everything is quite until-

"Piers?" Helena whispers into the phone.

"Oh my god, thank god. Are you alright?" He ask.

"Yes, but he took Sherry with him" Helena said with a broken voice.

"Where did he take Sherry?" Piers say.

Jake gets on his feet and walk over to Piers to listen to the call.

"I don't know, but it seems like he is taking her blood. He need a vaccine, he's dying" Helena said.

"A vaccine?" Piers say.

"Yes, he is taking her to this room now" Helena say.

Jake take the phone away from Piers ear and put it next to his right ear.

"Helena, where are you?" Jake ask.

"T-They took us to the glass building in the town. I think we're underground, it's smells rat and dead people here. You gotta hurry Jake, before they do anything to Sherry" Helena say.

"We'll come for you and Sherry. I promise" Jake said.

"I don't have that much battery left so-" Helena said before the line broken between them.

"Her phone is dead" Jake said and look at Piers.

"Where are they?" Leon say.

Jake point at the huge glass building in the middle of the town.

"That is where we are going" Jake said with his gun ready.
