THE TIDE IMAGINES AND PREFERENCES

You went alone to the carnival. Your friends are not available because they have a busy schedule. You hate boredom so you went to the nearest carnival, alone.

You just want to forget about anything. The problems at home, stupid people around you, and school year just ended so this is going to be a good start of vacation. 

After getting a lot of tickets for the rides, you rushed to the carousel. When you looked around, couples are everywhere. The truth is, you're the only one on the carousel who do not have a date. For short, you're the only single there. It's okay Y/N, you thought.

Next is the roller coaster. Each row of the roller coaster has two seats. So you wondered who will be sitting next to you. The rows and seats are occupied by couples. It's not valentine's day but why does the carnival has a lot of lovebirds tonight?

"All aboard?" the roller coaster guy shouted. Nobody is beside you.

"Wait one more seat is not occupied" a guy said.

"Okay go ahead. Give me your ticket, man" the roller coaster guy said to the boy.

A cute blonde young man sat beside you. He looks familiar. He looks like the band member that is famous in your school.

"Hi" he said and smiled at you.

"Hey" you answered awkwardly.

"I saw you a while ago at the carousel. Who's with you?" he asked.

"Me, myself, and I" you replied to drive away awkwardness.

"HAHA so you're alone?" 

"Yep. Nobody's with me."

"Me too. Drew, by the way" then he offered a hand. NOW YOU REMEMBER WHO HE IS.

"Hi Drew." you said smiling but not taking his hand.

"And you're...?"

"Y/N" and you took the hand shake.

"All aboard!" the roller coaster guy shouted and the roller coaster train rolled on. 

In the middle of the ride..

"THIS IS SO COOL!" you shouted with your hands in the air. You're currently on the most intense part of the ride.

You looked at Drew to see his reaction to the ride. But you caught him staring at you. And the two of you held each other's eye gaze. You stopped staring so it won't be awkward.

After the ride, you just laugh because you two got so dizzy.

And you exchanged numbers. You went to the carnival alone. And after two rides, you already have someone with you. To ride with you and enjoy the night at the carnival.

But you're just a little shy because what if one of your schoolmates see you and take pictures of the two of you and school girls would think you're dating him?

Whatever, you enjoyed the night with him.
