I would've died if I lived back in the Victorian Era. Everything was always like, "Ladies don't do this and ladies don't do that" back then. Ugh, how did Marie Antoinette eat all that cake without being judged? (Hmm then again, she lived during the French Revolution but whatever!)
Apparently, most parents still expect girls to work by that kind of etiquette. Take my mom for example. She's always scolding me on how I shouldn't put my feet up on the couch, or how I need to have one pinky raised when I'm holding a glass or a teacup. I mean, seriously Mom? There's no point in trying to tell me to be lady like when you know I hate dresses, love blowing up Barbies, am athletic, and enjoy reading Stephen King novels.
