Ever since that news, well, it was a private one between Yoongi and Namjoon that Taehyung and Jungkook overheard seem to make them uncomfortable. But what hurt the duo the most was that Yoongi could act all happy in front of the camera and pretend what occurred nearly ten minutes ago never even happened.

It made Taehyung sad. But it angered Jungkook.

Why?

Because Namjoon refused to accept Yoongi's love. That's what he never understood about his leader right now.

'Does he love someone else? Is he straight or. . . 'Jungkook's train of miserable thought was broken when the interviewer asked for his attention.

"Yes?"

"Do you mind telling us why you chose Lost Stars as your cover to sing and later on sing it for us?"The female interviewer inquired, a smile on her face. The latter blinked twice and nodded shyly.

"I decided to do this song because the lyrics is relatable to our daily life. You can say we all have love issues."Jungkook answers, directing Namjoon and Seokjin secretly. Yoongi seem to understand but he kept quiet, a sad smile present.

"Lost Stars tells us a story about how one individual is stuck in love, mostly in their fantasies. They love someone so much but it's difficult to be together. One of them try to find ways so they can be all their sadness can go away. Like the lyric part, are we all lost stars in the dark, it means are we the light within the darkness. Can we shine in the cruel?"Jungkook explained, making the interviewer and his hyung impressed and amazed.

"Wow, Jungkook-ah! That's a great explanation."Seokjin complimented, clapping for the Maknae who gave him a sheepish smile.

"Can you sing for us?"The interiewer asked. Jungkook nodded with more confidence. He got off his seat and stood in the middle with a faint smile on his face.

The instrumental music began and Jungkook waited for the cue to start. Finally, it the song had started and Jungkook's beautiful voice ran throughout the whole area. Everyone was memorized by the Maknae's voice. As always.

Halfway through the song, Yoongi felt his chest tighten. He covered the bottom half his face with his hand, in hoping to stop the tears that threaten to escape. Namjoon felt completely dejected as he listened to the lyrics and remembered the explanation they were all given.

Yoongi felt like crying so much but he knew he had to the strong hyung, especially when it came to Jungkook considering the young boy looked up to him when it came to love and other things.

While singing, Jungkook noticed the harden expression on Yoongi's face and the latter went closer to his Hyung who sat in the second row. Yoongi forced a small smile on his countenance when he saw the camera fixated on him.

When he finished the song, the Maknae bowed and many claps were heard in the studio. He then traded spots with Hoseok. When he thanked people for the compliments, his free hand would snake down and laced with Yoongi's alerting the older male.

"Jungkook. . ."He heard the heartbroken hyung whispered.

All Jungkook did was smile fondly and held his hyung's hand tightly, making sure the older male felt safe and loved.

When they arrived in the dorms, Jungkook was too aggravated that he didn't want enter the dorms nor talk with anyone. Instead, the Maknae began walking away from the dorm area. Taehyung escorted Yoongi to his shared room with the younger boy.

Jungkook stood still and stared up at the sky that was glowing with beautiful stars that reminded him of Seokjin. And the song.

It was true.

They were all lost stars.

But can they light up the darkness they were in?

"I knew I'd find you somewhere around here."Jungkook turned and watch Seokjin come closer. The Maknae lowered his head and let a sigh escape his parted lips. The boy had forgotten about the occasion between him and the elder but Seokjin was alright with that.

"Look up Kookie."

The latter listened to the command and his cheeks were a pink hue when he saw Seokjin's intense stare. It made him felt small somehow.

"What's wrong now?"Seokjin asked softly.

And that's what it all takes.

"Why the fuck does everyone think it's okay to throw someone love away! Like it was nothing?!"Jungkook burst out.

"Jungkook. . ."

"How could he?! They loved each other like brothers, hell, they were like lovers. No matter how much flaws the other person had, he still love him despite all the hate and every pathetic fucking things! Why! Why do people make you fall for them and then break your heart! Do they think it's a fucking game?!"Jungkook cried and knew he was close to letting that tear escape.

The Maknae knew it shouldn't be his business crying over Namjoon and Yoongi love affair. But it was his Hyung and he cared so much. Plus he wanted to rant it out to someone. And that someone was Seokjin.

"Jungkook. Love is like a game."Jungkook teary face seem to have a wrathful expression which made Seokjin uneasy but he continued,"Love has many ways it can go. It can be all perfect, sometimes hard, and easy; otherwise dangerous."

Before Jungkook could retort, Seokjin pulled the Maknae in his arms."Enough Kookie. . .The stars. Let's watch them, hm?"

A sniff was heard and the eldest hyung took it as a 'yes'. Taking the younger's hand in his, they both walked to a nearby clearing and laid down. The tears still streamed down Jungkook's face but as the silence and stars proceed to grow, his sadness began to vanish.

Their interlocked hands also placate the Maknae down. Momentarily, he felt relieved. This moment was perfect. Maybe too perfect.

"Jungkook-ah. . . "

A hum and the elder boy turned to face the boy who was already looking at him. A playfully grin was plastered on his comportment as he saw how flustered the youngest got.

"Jungkook-ah, why do you like the stars?"

A smile etched on his countenance. Releasing a sigh, the Maknae would answer truthfully about Seokjin's inquiry about his interest in the gorgeous stars. Even the one besides him.

"Because have you seen something so beautiful that it just reminds you of the star?"

"Well, I do look in the mirror and see myself."

Both boys began to laugh at the joke. The confidence Seokjin had was massive and that's what the younger boy loved about the elder boy. He wished he had that ego.

"Jin-hyung, what I'm going to say next is important. . . ."

"What is it?"

❝I love this star so much. . .❞Jungkook started.❝But sadly. . . we can never be together. . .❞

Seokjin blinked twice in confusion and rotated to comprehend the Maknae's demeanor but he was looking straight up. Something stirred within Seokjin that made him all warmed up by Jungkook's significant message.

❝Why would you say that?❞The eldest whispered.

A wind then blew by, empathizing the moment. The sound of trees, grass, and bushes rustling was hearken but slowly went inaudible.

❝Because that star is adored by many and can never love that individual.❞

'That was a pathetic confession. . .'Jungkook thought harshly about himself and felt the tears returning.

The silence was then granted on the duo as they looked at one another. The unspoken words and hidden emotions being shared between each other in the alluring tranquillity.
