3. The First Official Meeting

The day was rainy and gloomy. It was almost lunch time, so I grabbed my stuff, and headed to the cafe where we were going to meet. I knew about that place, but to be honest, I had never been there before. When I came in, he was already there, sitting on a table near the window, staring out of it, peacefully.

"Hello, sorry for keep you waiting."

I greeted him as I approached to the table.

"Oh, not at all. I just came in early."

He said with that charming smile of  his. Annoying.

"Well, let's order something, so we can start our talk properly."

I said, ignoring his smile, and forcing a grin. A young waitress approached to our table to take our orders. At the moment she saw the blue eyed guy, her face turned red. What did that man has that made the girls act so weird? Utterly annoying.

"H-How can I help you today?"

She hardly could speak. Well, whatever. I just ordered an americano and a donut. On the other side, he ordered a caramel mocha and a slice of strawberry cheesecake. And by that I could see that we were very different from each other, completely opposite poles. But why should I care about that? I just don't know what I was thinking at that moment.

After we ordered, he turned his face to me and our eyes met. Even though the place had a warm scheme, his eyes were still so blue. He had that kind of gaze in which you can get lost if you left your guard down.

"So, what are the issues you need to talk about with me, Guren?"

He said as he rested his chin on the back of his hands, his elbows resting on the table, staring at me with a half smile. And then I felt how something was burning in my chest when he said my name and his voice caressed each letter.

"Nothing much, I just wanted to apologize for the other day, I acted in a very rude way to you."

I said without paying attention to what I was feeling.

"Is that so? Oh well, you were in a hurry so I understand why you acted that way. Apologies accepted. Then that means that this is your treat to me, right? Should I order something more expensive?"

He smirked and winked at me. What was just he thinking? The fact that I apologized was just to cover my true motives that were nothing less but to know more about the Hiragi family. But, was it really true that I wanted to know more about the Hiragis or I just wanted to know more about him...? I just put aside that thought to keep my mind fresh.

"Alright, this time will be my treat, but I'm just going to pay for what you already ordered."

I rolled my eyes. I didn't want to pay for him, but I just couldn't say no.

"Ah, so stingy. Even though when I've already forgiven you. But I guess this is better than nothing."

He said almost pouting like a little child, and then he gave me one of his charming smiles.

"C'mon don't act like such a kid."

I said to him smirking and raising an eyebrow. I thought that if he was going to show all of his charms I wasn't going to lose this game.
