Chrystal's P.O.V.

When I got home from the beach I went upstairs to see if my ring was where I left it and it was.

I put it on and sighed as I looked at the beautiful ring he got me.

How could I forget about it?

I then went to look for Connor and found him in the pack gym.

6 acres of land full of gym equipment and smelly wolfmen.

I remember the day Connor asked me if investing 6 acres of our land just for training was a good idea.

If he'd ask me now I would say no, but back then he was my best friend and crush and I didn't want to say anything wrong so I just agreed and encouraged.

Connor was punching the punching bag at a speed that was unimaginable until it busted open.

I flinched as it burst and everything inside of it came out at once.

"Connor...." I cooed his name.

But he didn't even look my way.

I knew he knew I was in the room with him because of our mate bond.

And because all the men bowed to me when I walked in and Connor has a 6th sense that jumps in when I'm being acknowledged by anyone of the male species that isn't him.

I stared at him as my wolf whimpered.

His wolf was very hurt and I could tell he was too.

I walked up to him but kept a safe distance just in case the punching bag breaks again.

"I'm sorry. I didn't purposely forget it. I just did, I don't know how, but I just did."

Wow, way to go, Chrystal, that explanation was totally A1.

Note the sarcasm.

Once again Connor didn't even look my way.

I sighed and sat down on a mat.

He busted the other punching bag and now he was going to replace it.

If he keeps doing this we're going to have to make one huge-ass bill for new punching bags this month.

He went to grab the new punching bag and was about to hook it up but I stood in front of him.

"Connor, we need to talk. I promise you I didn't leave it on purpose. I understand if you need some time, but you at least believe me right?"

Connor stared at me but looked away a second later.

"You don't," I said.

"I just don't believe that you just happen to forget to wear your engagement ring the day you were going out half-naked." He growled and dropped the punching bag he was about to hook up before walking out.

Okay. Add this to the list of things that are alien to me.

Connor's never been mad at me.

I groaned than sighed and lied on the training room floor and stared up at the ceiling.

When nightfall came Connor wasn't even in our room.

Matter of fact, he was out rouge killing and letting his anger out on anything and anyone in his way, EXCEPT FOR ME.

That's my problem.

Why won't he just yelled at me or scream instead of taking it out on the pack as a whole?
