The office smelled like the dentist. Jin hated the dentist.
"There's a phone over at the front desk counter pick it up and call your dad," Mr.Heart said as he motioned with his hand toward the phone.
"Okay," Jin said as he made his way over to the phone.
"Hopefully my dad won't pick up the phone," Jin thought to himself as he dialed his dad's phone number.
After a second or two of waiting Jin's dad's voice came through "Yo, who's calling?".
"Its your loving, beautiful, amazing son," Jin said.
"Never heard of him," Jin's dad said.
"Very funny," Jin said now a little pissed off.
"Oh, you mean my lazy, sleepy, single son Jin," Jin's dad said.
"Yeah, the one and only," Jin said realizing they were getting nowhere with this conversation.
"Anyway dad I need you to come to school to sign a paper for Mr.Heart," said Jin.
"Why exactly?" Jin's dad asked.
"Because I forgot to get you to sign it yesterday and now Mr.Heart needs it signed so i don't fail the class," Jin said.
"Well I'm kinda busy at the moment so could you just tell Mr.Heart I'm gonna have to give him a rain check on that," Jin's dad said.
"If I do that I'm gonna be in even more trouble," Jin said now even more pissed off.
"Sorry Jin but I got to go bye," Jin's dad said.
"Wait hold on a sec," Jin said.
Jin realized his dad hung up.
"You ass," Jin said under his breath as he put the phone down.
"So what did your dad say?" Mr.Heart asked as he got up from one of the office's chairs and walked over to Jin.
"He's dead to me," Jin said.
"What?" Mr.Heart said.
"He got hit by a truck," Jin said.
"Stop playing games Jin," Mr.Heart said in a serious tone.
"My dad said he couldn't come to school right now," Jin said.
"And why is that?" Mr.Heart said now a little frustrated.
"He said he was busy," Jin said.
"Are you lying Jin?" Mr.Heart asked.
"No sir," Jin said with all seriousness.
Jin thought to himself that he expected no less from his dad. Both his dad and his Mom had a few screws loose in his opinion.
"Okay well I guess you have one more day to get the paper signed then," Mr.Heart said.
"Yes sir, I will make sure to get it signed," Jin said.
"Alright then" Mr.Heart said as he let out a sigh. "Head on back to lunch then,".
"Awesome," Jin said as he left the office.
"Finally I get to eat I'm starving," Jin thought to himself as he headed to the lunch room.
Before he got to the lunchroom the bell rang signaling the end of lunch.
"Mother of crap!" Jin yelled.
.......
Once again that freaking bell rang signaling the end if classes.
Jin slowly made his way out of the class. He was fed up of today.
"I just want to go home and sleep," Jin said to himself as he made his way out of the school.
The rest of the walk home was uneventful.
"Maybe all my bad luck has run out for the day," Jin said.
When Jin got to the apartment complex there was a moving truck outside.
"Oh, someone new's moving in I guess," Jin thought to himself not really caring.
Jin walked up the stairs of the apartment building to the second floor.
Mindy was outside in the hallway talking to someone.
"What!" Jin thought to himself as he looked at the other person.
It was Mila.
Mila glanced Jin's way as he started walking toward his apartments door.
"You," Mila said as she broke off her and Mindy's conversation and walked over to Jin.
"Uh,hey..," Jin started to say but then Mila stomped on his foot.
"What the hell," Jin thought to himself.
"That's what you get for suddenly ditching me in the hallway,"Mila said.
"You didnt have to stomp on my foot," Jin said now a little pissed off. "Why are you even here?".
"Me and my mom moved into one of the apartments downstairs." Mila said.
"That explains the moving truck'" Jin thought to himself.
"I see," Jin said. "So then why were you talking to Mindy?".
Jin looked over to see that Mindy had already went back into her room not wanting to be involved in their dispute.
"Just saying hi to my new neighbors," Mila said.
Mila's phone started ringing.
"Oh, my boyfriends calling," Mila said.
"Of course," Jin thought to himself rather bitterly. "Someone with her looks definitely had a boyfriend,".
Jin started walking to his door knowing that the conversation was over.
"See you Jin," said Mila as she then started talking to her boyfriend over the phone.
Jin stopped in his tracks "When did I tell her my name?" He thought as he turned around to ask her.
Mila was already out of sight.
"Whatever," Jin said.
He was to tired already.
Jin unlocked the door to his apartment. There was cat crap all over the floor.
"Bigle!!!" Jin yelled.
"Today really is a bad day," Jin said.
