Chapter 2-First Day
In the corner of my eyes, I saw students staring in my way. I sighed. Same-old-cliche style of showing disgust eh? Well, good thing your fish ball eyes didn't fell out on looking at me. I may be the 'eye-candy' of the school, but puh-lease, it's rude to stare at me for too long.
"Change how you dress." The little voice in my head said to me.
What's so wrong about dressing like this? I mean, it's comfy.
"They call you the lez of the school because of how you dress, now change."
Even you, little voice, starts saying that to me. Sorry, but i'm fine this way.
Why am I even mentally talking to myself? Talk about weird.
As I walk towards the school door, a hand covered my eyes making me stumble a bit.
"Let me go!" I wriggled my body to get off from this person's grasp, "I know it's you."
"Awe, is that how you greet your beautiful friend?"
"Yeah, Ashley. Now get your beautiful hands off me." I mimicked the voice of those 5th graders and made a face.
Ashley removed her hands off my face and I sighed in relief. Ashley Mason, the awesomest best friend that I have in my life, without this girl I think i'll be a total loser here in Hamilton High, some jocks or some chicks who thinks they're the real life mean girls makes fun of me, Ashley shoos them off. I'm not weak if that's what your thinking, it's just that I don't want to go all Jackie Chan and kick them hard on the face. It's not time for them to know how I'm a black belt student in Karate, and I'm actually good in Taekwondo. I'm so proud of myself, you'll never know, time will come when you have to protect yourself.
"It's a good thing you know my hands are beautiful, oh wait. Every part of me is beautiful," Ashley began to pose to what I think a model but failed because all I can see is a grandma on crack. But to be honest, she really is beautiful, with that 'princess like' hair, emerald eyes and those curves that cheerleaders are dying to have, you know what they say 'to-die-for'. I sometimes envy Ashley but what the heck, who am I kidding, I'm just average.
"Psh. Beautiful? I think I'm deaf." I put my hands in my ears and pretend to not hear on what she just said.
Ashley scoffed, "I am! You--"
"Hey ladies!"
Ashley and I whirled to see who was behind us, and my face immediately lights up.
"Sup man!" I gave Joe a knuckle punch and we both have goofy grins on our faces.
Ashley cleared her throat and I raised my eyebrows at her.
"As I was saying I ---"
"Wassup Ashley," Joe waved a hand at Ashley but she ignored it like he wasn't there.
"As I was saying I---"
"Yo Ashley!"
At this point, Ashley let out a hiss towards Joe, "Will you shut up?! Can't you see me and Claire was just talking how beautiful I am and you go all 'sup Ashley!' I was just gonna finish my bootiful sentence you jerk!" Ashley was shouting like a mad woman, doing some kind of hand dance in the air and I pretend to not be seen. I tried, but because of my height it's impossible and gosh, Ashley is making a scene which students began to walk in our way. Not good, Ashley is such a drama queen.
