Me and the guys were hanging out when Patrick said," Hey guys I've been thinking." "Oh great. We're gonna die guys." I replied with a sarcastic comback. Patrick punched my arm playfully I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Get a room you two!" Yelled Joe. Andy just laughed and stood up. The guys don't mind that me and Patrick are dating they find it cute. "So. What were you thinking, babe?" "I thought that maybe we could adopt a kid and raise it together." The guys gave him a nod thinking it would be a great idea I just smiled and he knew I thought that it was an amazing plan. "Well there's this adoption center a block away we could go tomorrow." We all said ok and headed to bed because it was 11 at night.
Next morning.
We were all ready and fixing to leave. It would just be me and Patrick getting the kid why'll Andy and Joe got stuff to decorate her room. We decide on a girl so it wasn't a house full of just guys. Once we got there the lady told us the kids were around so just go around and ask questions. I had heard music from upstairs so I drug Patrick up them. I walked to the room it was coming from and knocked I got no answer so I walked in. A girl who looked about 14 was laying on a bench lifting weights. The music came from a speaker. She was playing 'Teenagers By MCR.' Patrick looked at her with interest. I looked at her arms and sall quaze. I paused the music and that made her drop the weight. She quickly got it off with ease. She jumped up and looked at us. She went to speak then grapped a board and wrote
"May I help you?"
"Yeah. Can we talk to you for a sec?" She nodded and nodded to her bed and told us to have a seat. We sat down as she buzzed around finding a board and marker plus something to wipe it clean with. I asked,"Why do you need that?" She wrote
"Because I'm Mute."
