Alex walks into the girls dorm room to show Corki what he was wearing.
Corki: ALEX!! What are you wearing? My father is going to be hear in 20 minutes!!
Alex: (takes Corki's hands) Yeah I know but I'm not like the other guys you have dated.
Corki: You mean Jared?
Alex: Yeah him. As I was saying I want your father to like me for who I am. I like you for who you are and you like me for who I am right?
Corki: Right
Alex: I want your dad to like me but not when I'm pretending to be someone I'm not. Well, I wonder what I'm going to say to him. He probably wants to hear a lot about what are my plans in the future!
Mr. Chang: I have heard enough.
Corki: Father!!!! Your here!!!! 10 minutes early!!!!
Alex: (reaches out to reach Mr. Chang's hand) Its very nice to meet you sir. My name is Alex Phan.
Mr. Chang: Nice to meet you Alex. I heard what you told my daughter, that other boys that she was with was so full of himself and never once told her something like that.
Corki: Well, that's Jared.
Alex: (looking at Corki) Corki really helped me when I got fired from Hey Jung Ko's Fashion Internship so that Jodi could have it. I used to play my keyboard in the janitors closet until she walk in and gave me the courage to find and band to play with even though my band was playing against her band. When people say "Why do you like her her?" or "What makes her so special?" I just walk away cause I couldn't believe that someone would ask me an question like that!
Alex looked at Corki again and say that she was crying and smiling at the same time. He made her so happy that she cried tears of joy!!!
Mr. Chang: Corki, I like this one cause this one is real and not a fake.
Corki: ( walking towards Alex)I like him to!!
Corki gave Alex a kiss and Mr. Chang left Mckendrick knowing that his daughter found someone that loves her as much as he does.
