Alex begged the teacher before class started to sit next to Corki. Finally, the teacher said yes.
Corki: Alex I thought Jared was chemistry partner!!!
Alex: (smiling). He was but I begged the teacher to switch him with me. Besides we have better "chemistry" don't you think?
Corki: (giggling) That was really cheesy but still cute.
Corki and Alex smile at each other.
Alex mixes a blue liquid and a purple liquid and it starts to bubble.
Alex: Uh oh.
Foam shoots from the container and into Alex's face! He wipes the foam from his face and looks at Corki who is laughing.
Corki: (laughing) And this is why we wear safety goggles!
Alex: I'm gonna go take a shower.
Corki: (still laughing) Yeah you go do that.
