Walk Away

The tears fall from her eyes

Looking for all the world

Like nothing more then a downpour

Of rain, of salty water

They drain out of her clear green eyes

And you watch, doing nothing

Her hands shake, her knees are weak

You do nothing to stop her from falling

You don't enjoy seeing her in pain

But somehow you're always the one

The one who causes her heartache

She can't speak, for the lump in her throat

Her stomach feels nauseous

There's nothing you can do

You're just not happy with her anymore

You know it, she knows it

The words don't need to be spoken

It's best if you just walk away

Because she'll be better off

If you decide not to stay
