Uh.. Hello to everyone who'll read this story! (^_^)
This is my first book. I'm not sure how it'll turn out or if I'll be able to finish it. But i'll try my best to finish it and make it interesting. Also I'm not very good in English. So there's going to be some grammatical and spelling mistakes. I apologize for that in advance.
And lastly, I hope everyone's going enjoy it.
And of course, if u like my story don't forget to vote, comment & maybe.. share(?)=======x=======
Daisy's pov
Ever heard a saying like- "If you're offered free lemons, grab 'em"? Well you definitely should. Who knows you might need those for lemonade.
At least I would gladly keep those free lemons. But unfortunately I'm really great at keeping things (note the sarcasm), so it's kinda obvious that those poor lemons would end up rotten for being kept under some pile of laundry or books or who knows what not. So those said poor rotten lemons fate is to get thrown at the nearest bin (only when I'll find those . If I don't then.. let's not think about that shall we?).
So by now, you people clearly should have understood that I'm a lazy bum to the extreme (also I'm craving for some lemonade). You see, I'm not one of those energetic, sarcastic, funny, lovable character you find everywhere. I'm just stupid. The only time you might find entertainment from me is through my idiotic actions and comments.
Maybe that's because I turned a little bit of an airhead living such a dull life. It's like a straight line. No curves. Nada.
You can summarize my life with eat, read, sleep, repeat. Literally! Every freakin' day its the same thing over and over and over again. I feel like I'm stuck in an endless loop! For cryin' out lo-
"DAISY!"
Just when I was close to my ending of my mental self rants about my useless life, my chain of thought was broken by my mothers call reaching my ears. I groaned mentally and heaved myself up from my bed. Pulling out my headphone from my ears, I headed downstairs to see what was up.
"Yeah?"
My mother was a petite woman with a sound figure. No more taller than 5 feet. Curly brown hair reaching the nape of her neck. She was busy brushing away some strands while cutting veggies.
"Mrs. Bellwood called. She wants you to look after Cherry for couple of hours this Thursday . So keep your schedule free for that day, okay?"
Ugh.. babysitting that middle school brat again. "What's my reward?" I tried considering the offer. "I'll give you cookies."
What does she take me for?! Friggin' five!? Can't say I expected any better. I sighed miserably shaking my head. "You still owe me 15 percent extra allowance this month." i grumbled as I walked back to my room.
"By the way, your dad is returning tomorrow. So be back home early!" She shouted from kitchen.
"Okay!" I responded as I entered my room.
Now that I take a look at my room, it was hell of a mess. If you compared a guys room with mine, I can bet you won't even notice the difference. Maybe the lack of guyish poster might be your only hint. Some clothes were piled up here and there. Books were scattered on my desk, some on my bed. There was an empty bottle on coke sitting on my computer table for a day or two.
