Time for a quick explanation! I have been writing Ashes to Ashes fan fiction over on FFnet for the last year and a half. In that time I have become fond of some of my original characters who have sort of grown beyond what I was expecting and almost developed a life of their own. I couldn't leave them alone so I decided to write a separate story involving a couple of them. This does follow in my series of A2A fics, but I can't really class it as a piece of fan fiction because it won't include any of the main characters of the show. A couple of lesser characters may appear though. Sorry, one of them might be Evan
A/N: Time to give a little background here. This is a case of characters running away with you. This used to happen to me all the time while I was writing years ago, I wouldn't intentionally put two characters in a relationship/friendship/crush etc scenario, it would develop by chance as things went along. While I was writing Dead Man Walking no one would have been more surprised than me to find Robin and Kim getting closer – and they were my own bloody characters!
