As soon as they were safely withing the walls of Lalna's castle, he turned to Zoeya. "Are you in pain or anything?" He cautiously asked. He knew she was injured, but he didn't know how painful her injuries were. I will make him pay for this, I swear. He gritted his teeth when she saids yes. It was one of his biggest nightmares, Zoeya being in pain. "Follow me.." He led her up to his labatory, and searched through some test tubes. After finding the right one, he walked over to her with a comforting smile. "Just rub some of this on your neck and shoulder, it'll probably heal them!" Lalna gave her the tube, then stood over by the window. He still couldn't believe Rythian hurt her. He used to adore her. Why did everything just turn? He decided to ask her later.

"This smells really good!" Zoeya chirped, as she wiped the drops of the stuff off of her hand onto her shirt. "I know, I had to use a load of flowers to make it..." Lalna laughed, still half day-dreaming. "Z-Zoeya, do you know w-why he hurt you?" Zoeya turned round, looking him in eyes. After thinking, she calmly said "I began to annoy him." She continued to stare into his eyes, until she turned away and began to weep. Lalna walked over, stopping when he was right next to Zoeya. I hope she takes this in the right way. He wrapped his arms around her, biting his lip. He could've ran out and messed Rythian up. In reaction, she pressed her head to his shoulder and continued weeping. Lalna's only words were "He's not worth it, Zoeya. He never was. Let's go for a walk, it should take your mind off things!"

As they made their way to the garden, the sky was illuminated by the orange sunset. "It's just like-" Lalna began to say, until Zoeya finished his sentence "Old times!" The looked each other in the eyes and laughed. It truly was like old times. Before Rythian interfered, before Zoeya left, before everything changed. Lalna cleared his throat. This time, I'll tell her. "Zoeya, I have something to tell you..." He managed to spurt out between his heavy breathing. She hummed, acknowledging his statement.

"I... I think.. no, I love you!"
