I wake up. It's really bright. I turn around and see Levi still sleeping next to me. He's shirtless. He looks so beautiful against the morning sunlight. I almost want to touch him, but I don't want to wake him up. I stare at him for a while. I decide to cuddle up next to him. He opens his eyes and looks at me. "Good morning, Eren", he smiles and kisses my forehead. I start purring. "Good morning, Levi", I smile back. He pulls me in to a tight hug. I purr against his soft skin. "You know... I would keep you as a pet if I could. You are cute, you learn quickly, you are one of the few things that make me smile. But right now I don't have time to keep a pet. I have my work and other stuff, you know.", Levi says concerned. "It's not about you. You are perfect.", he adds. I smile and nod. I know that he has his reasons. Suddenly a weird thought comes up to my mind. Should I do it. I blush bright red and Levi notices it easily. "What is it?", he smiles. I move my face in front of his and kiss him. He's a bit surprised but kisses me back anyway. I pull back after a while and turn the other way. Why did I do that?! Am I stupid or something? I feel Levis body against my back. He wraps his arms around me. "I think that was really nice. Want to do it again?", he whispers. I stay silent. He liked it? "I'm leaving today. These kisses won't mean anything.", I remind him. He pecks my neck. "Maybe... but I think that because you are leaving today, we should make our together time worth it and make good memories.", he tells me. I turn to lay on my back and wrap my arms around his neck. "Then...Would you kiss me again?", I beg him. He leans over me and brings his face close to mine. He smiles and soon closes the distance between us. His kiss feels amazing. His lips are really soft. He gently bites my lower lip and I gladly open my mouth for him. Our tongues roll around each other. Although it only lasts for a short while, my mind starts to haze. When Levi finally pulls back, we both need to take a second to breathe. "Should we go eat now?", Levi asks. I nod and sit on the edge of the bed. Levi walks to his closet again. he walks back to me and drops a big pile of clothes on the bed next to me, "I'll give these to you. They all should fit." I look at him. Is he serious? "You don't have to. This is way too much.", I stare at him. "It's nothing. You need to have clothes after all.", he says while packing clothes into a backpack. I used to have a backpack, but someone stole it. "I'll pack couple plastic bags just in case you need to carry more stuff. And a tooth brush. I think I have one spare.", he mumbles while packing. I think I can't stop him now. I'll just let him do what he wants.
After couple hours. Levi's done with packing and I've eaten the meal he promised yesterday. We also took a bath. It was amazing. It's almost my time to leave the house. I was supposed to leave a while ago but we ended up cuddling in the living room. I guess Levi really likes me. I like him too, but he said, that he can't keep a pet. I'm sure we'll meet again. I'm sure. When we finally decide to get up, I grab the backpack and head towards the door with Levi. "Remember to change and wash your clothes regularly.", he reminds me. He opens the door. "I'm really sorry. I really wanted to keep you.", Levi says. I kiss his cheek. "I know. Don't worry.", I smile. He looks sad. I wrap my arms around him. I'm gonna miss him. He does the same. "If you run low on food, you can always come by.", he offers. I let him go from my hug and nod, "It's a promise." We connect our lips for one final kiss.
I step outside. "I'll see you around.", I wave to Levi from the gate of his front yard. He waves me back, "Be safe." He closes the door and I start walking. Where should I go now? Maybe I should check if my lil' place under the bridge is still up. This place is not far from the car accident location, so I should find it.I've been walking for a while now. I can already see the bridge. Looks as crappy as ever. I hop over the fence that borders the road. I go down the hill and walk under the bridge. A small river runs across under the bridge as always. I see my crappy old tent. I check inside. Everything's there. A blanket, a pillow and a mattress. That's... everything I own. Well... not anymore of course. I take the backpack and start unpacking it. I don't even know what's in here. Levi just packed everything. I take couple plastic bags out. I put food supplies in one bag, clothes in another, and all other stuff in one bag. There is a toothbrush, two plastic forks, two plastic mugs and a plastic bowl. These'll come handy. For food, there's all kinds of stuff. "Canned tuna, canned pork.... whoa... even canned cat food. And lots of it.", I mumble. There are at least ten food cans. There's also an airproof box with meat in it. Wow. No wonder he took a long time in the store. There's food for weeks. I put everything on their own bags and organize my tent a little. I lay down on the mattress and pull the blanket over my head. Tears form in my eyes. I miss him.
