*Shannon's POV*
~6 years later~....
"UGH! Where the hell is it?" My friend Lola said. "What are you looking for?" asked poking her side. She sighed. "My Pierce The Veil shirt" ...I kept quiet. "I'm uh gonna go to the bathroom.." I said quickly running to the bathroom. I closed the door and started to tear up. Ever since then, I never saw them again. It seemed like yesterday..
~Flashback~
"I'll be right back.." Dakota said and ran out. "Don't leave me here!" I whisper-yelled. But he was already gone. I hugged my knees and started to cry. "You promised.." And I sat there waiting for him to come back. But he didn't. I waited. 1 hour went by. 2 hours went by. 3, 4, and 5. I ran out the little room and ran upstairs. "Jaime!? Tony?! Vic?! Mike?! Dakota?!" No answer. I looked in their rooms. Everything was still here, except them. I screamed their names and ran outside. Nobody. It was 8 am and I sat on the step outside the house and cried for 3 to 4 hours.
"Hey, are you okay?" I heard a voice say. I looked up, hoping it was Dakota. But, it was just a old woman with a grocery bag on her arm. "Yeah..Thanks for asking though." I mumbled and got up to go back inside. "Why were you crying?" She asked. I don't have freaking time to be answering freaking stupid questions. "None of your business! Just leave me alone!" I screamed and ran inside and closed the door, locking it.
I ran upstairs in Tony's room and looked around, remembering what happened a few days ago. I was crying on Tony's bed while he was going to the hospital. I picked up a picture of them all like before and laid on Tony's bed crying. And what's worse, it was my birthday.
~Flashback end~
"SHANNON! COME ON! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Lola yelled. I opened the door. "For what?" She stared at me. "Have you been crying?" Lola asked. "I'm fine! What are gonna be late for?" I yelled. Lola backed up. "Warped tour...?" I sighed and pushed past her. "I don't wanna go." I said plopping on the couch. "What!? Why?!" Lola yelled. I shook my head. "I'm having some problems right now. Just go without me and send me pictures and videos." I said with a tear going down my left cheek, which Lola couldn't see. "No!" "Yes." "No!" "Yes!" "No! I'm not going without you!" Lola yelled. I stayed quiet. Just do it for her.
"Okay! Okay! Fine. But we're leaving early.." I said quietly. Lola jumped and hugged me. "OH MY GOSH, YES!! I LOVE YOU SHANNON!" She said and then stopped. "Well come on! Let's a go!" Lola said in a Mario voice. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my keys. "I'll drive." I said.
I got in my car and turned on the radio to 93.3. The song "Lola" By The Kinks came on. I stared at Lola as she smiled. "Isn't this your favorite song?" I asked backing out the garage. She smiled. "Yup." We sang the song on the way and then when the song was over, she smiled at me. "What?" I asked. Lola turned to me. "Can.I.PLEASE TURN ON PIERCE THE VEIL PLEASE!" I rolled my eyes and nodded. "YAY!" Lola yelled. She put in the Collide With The Sky Album on and sang the lyrics. The lyrics were in my head but I didn't sing.
We arrived at Warped and I parked. "Okay, we're her-" Lola was fast asleep. I smiled because I was thinking what to do. "OH MY GOD, LOLA! VIC SAID YOU'RE HOT!" I yelled. She jumped up and hit her head. "WHERE!?" I started to cry laughing so hard. "Asshole." Lola said pushing me. "Love you, too."
We got out the car and I was still laughing. "Why is that still funny?" She asked. "Because..your..face..was..PRICELESS OH MY GOD PFFFFFFFF!" I laughed. Lola's face went red. "You're embarrassing me stop it! ...Look.." Lola said and I looked forward to see her staring at something/someone. I looked to see Tony Perry staring at us. I stopped laughing as he ran over to us. I looked at Lola as she was just frozen.
