As she sat at home listening to her mother scream at her, Warda began to plan her death. She couldn't believe Syed lied to her. He let her get hurt again. After he said he would have someone take care of it. He had let her down.
"Are you listening?!" Her mother screamed at her. Her face red and jet fists clenched. "You are my only daughter! It's because you got involved with that boy isn't it?" Her mom was referring to Warda getting punched by Chelsea after school.
"Yes mom! It is! But it isn't what you think."
"Then What is it? You were such a good girl before we went to..."
"Just leave it." Warda interrupted before going to her room. The tone she spoke with her mother. Surprised not just her mom, but Warda herself as well. Warda laid on her bed. Looking up at the ceiling. She could hear her brother next door. Gloating about how he broke his sister's wrist. Which still hurt. Warda began to tear up. Feeling overcome with emotion she buried her face in her pillow as she screamed and cried.
She suddenly felt someone was looking at her. She turned around and saw Syed. Standing in her room. Watching her cry.
"Syed! Get out!"
"Personally I have found pain enjoyable. Now why are you so sad?"
"How did you get in?" She asked.
"I climbed the tree and jumped. Now answer my question."
"You have some friends look..."
"Bradd isn't my friend." Syed said as he looked at the door. His tone firm and serious. Just like the rest of his manner.
"Do you know your handling it takes a long time?" Warda said sarcastically as she rubbed her wrist.
"What happened to your wrist?" He asked as he slowly moved closer to her.

"Nothing... And why are you here in my room?" She asked

"I came to check on you."

"I don't need a babysitter. Okay? I am fine."

"But your wrist."

"Syed I am fine! Even if I am not it isn't like you will help! A friend sticks up for one another. You left. You never said where you were going. You weren't even there to help me." She said as she got up from her bed. Walking to the door and opened it. "Now leave. You should know when you aren't welcomed somewhere." Syed put his head down. Knowing the feeling of not being welcomed. As he walked to her window and climbed off he could not help but to feel a sense of pain. This pain generating from his heart as he walked. Unsure of his destination. He just walked.

Sidra rolled her eyes as he left. Closing her door as she quietly watched her window. Her heart pleading for him to come back. She would hate to admit it, but she did feel safer with him around. She sighed as she figured he would probably end up leaving her to defend herself since she spoke to him the way she did. She should have thought her speech through before she spoke... But he did leave her. He did not even look back. Not once. Unsure of the road that would lay ahead.
